A H O L I D AY N O T E . . . We invite one and all to the 24th edition of Roper Mountain Holiday Lights -- a holiday tradition for thousands of Upstate families! An affordable way of spending a family evening out to witness the Wonder of the Holidays through children’s eyes. Drive through 1-½ miles of displays encompassing over 1 million holiday lights. Walk through our Winter Wonderland for a visit with one of the areas favorite Santa’s. Enjoy the sounds of Christmas from area school choral and musical groups on select evenings. Holiday fun and magic for a low entry fee of only $10/car ($15 Friday–Sunday).
C
While Roper Mountain Holiday Lights is a magical, family-oriented experience, it also raises funds for education and charities going directly back into our community. In its first 24 years, Holiday Lights has raised over $2,221,000 for the benefit of charities and educational programs in the Upstate. This has been made possible with thanks to our volunteers who spend thousands of hours to make Holiday Lights a reality, our wonderful sponsors who support our efforts and to the thousands of visitors that come through Holiday Lights each year.

IN WINTER WONDERLAND The large, colorful Holiday Cards displayed along the path in Winter Wonderland are actually works of art created by local students. Starting with a blank, large piece of plywood, 24 school art classes created the spectacular Holiday Cards this year based on the theme “What the holidays mean to me.” We hope you enjoy the display, and thanks to our participating schools:
