STOOL INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING

Access to this platform must be SAFE & STABLE. Ladder access shall be by industrial step ladder secured to the platform so they will not seperate and there is no trip obstruction to the person on the platform. The ladder must be at least 900mm higher than the top of the platform.

PRIOR TO ERECTING STOOL

1. Evaluate job site and conditions.

2. Check for low-lying electrical wires.

3. Do not use in rain or snow conditions.

4. Do not use stools if you are under 4. the influence of drugs, alcohol, tire

4. easily, are subject to dizzy spells

4. or are physically impaired.

5. Do not endanger others who are 5. using stools that may be put at risk.

6. Before use, check the stool for any

6. damage that may have occurred

6. previously and never use a damaged,

6. bent or broken stool.

7. Do not make any temporary repairs

7. to stools. Return to manufacturer

7. if damaged.

8. Do not use stools if they are

8. deteriorated through excessive wear.

9. Destroy broken stools or stools

9. that have been exposed to fire or 9. chemical corrosion.

SETTING UP STOOL

1. Select a size of stool to reach the 1. working height you require.

2. When adjusting the height of the stool remove pin clips from the legs and select the height desired, push pin clips into position ensuring both arms of clip are secured onto leg.

3. Stand the stool up in the fully 3. opened position.

Open to full position.

4. Make sure all four legs are firmly on 4. the ground and that the stool is

4. stable and level before climbing.

5. Do not use stools on slippery surfaces.

6. Do not attempt to use stools that

6. have been erected on top of other 6. scaffold or materials to gain extra height.

WARNING DO NOT OVERLOAD

1. Take notice of the working load

1. limit of 205 kg.

2. Do not leave stools unattended.

2. This may cause danger to persons

2. unaware of their location.

3. Do not attempt to adjust the stool

3. while persons are standing on them.

3. If adjustment is required ensure 3. people are off the stool.

4. Do not over reach. Always move the 4. stool to the desired working position.

5. Maintain stools in a safe working

5. order at all times and clean from

5. grease, mud, oil, wet paint, and any

5. other slippery materials.

6. Never wear leather sole shoes.

6. Always keep footwear clean.
