Hi Key Club!

October and the fall season has officially come to a close, meaning a new term, recognition contest deadlines, and more fun events are all coming soon!

During fall, we managed to successfully moved most of our events in-person! However, with increased COVID cases as of January, we have moved all of our events online to minimize infection rates among our members while they help our community.

A couple of my favorite events from the past two months have been the DCMs, the Waterdog Run (despite the 6am start!), and our weekly club meetings. Even as we provide numerous club service events to choose from, don’t forget about division events! I highly encourage you all to attend DCMs (Division Council Meetings) to make some new friends and do some service!

I have combined events from September and October into this October issue due to its later release. Wtih the passing of George Kranen, a beloved Kiwanis advisor, the publication of this newsletter has been delayed with respect to him. May he rest in peace.

Hey Scots!

A Message from your

I hope you all had a fantastic month of October! We had a total of 8 service opportunities and a bunch of fundraisers to go along with it. You might have joined us at the Belmont Water Dog Run or Second Harvest, plus many more! Thank you all who came to volunteer because you definitely made an impact on our community. You might have also spotted us selling boba at football games and the homecoming dance! Whatever you did to support Key Club this month, we appreciate you :)

We hope to see you at more events throughout November and December, as well as 2022! Due to finals season, our events in December will include more ongoing and online service projects to allow you to get all the service hours you need for the MRP. We’ll also be discussing the MRP, club elections, and division/district contests at upcoming club meetings.

Thank you again to all those that have participated in events this semester! II can’t wait to see all of you guys throughout this month and at other events. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you just wanna talk :)
