BAO KA LIAO 马来西亚艺术学院室内设计学生作品展览会
ABOUT US BAKALIAO EXHIBITION
What?! Bao Ka Liao?! Alright then, let's do it together. Bao Ka Liao comes from the word Hokkien, meaning to package at the end: A.K.A. a Lump Sum. We as an Interior Architects, we are always Bao Ka Liao. Our work traverses from a design consultant of the interior design, slowly working on design and build, and not just that; designing posters, Booklet, Landing page, exhibition, etc. We Bao Ka Liao.
Come back to the main intention of why we want it to be this name in our exhibition for our module titled: Co-Lab: Collaborative Practice. When we learn about collaboration, we have that idea of doing everything in one just like Lump sum, so the reason behind it is because we are doing a variety of projects that reflect our lifestyle but yet applying different design methodology that comes from all the directions. In this case, we think Bao Ka Liao is a suitable name for this Co-Lab exhibition.
In the future this exhibition is not just to create for Co-Lab, we would be launching phase 2 - 3 to also publicity all of our degree works, and so just to let everyone out there know MIA more.

Online Learning Because of the Covid-19, almost all schools in Malaysia are facing challenges in how to switch from face-to-face teaching to online teaching. Our school is no exception. In this course of colab, we are honored to learn how severe the current education is and find solutions through research. 1
We will be divided into four groups, namely editor, current scenario, teaching and learning methods and Dictionary of online learning to complete the homework and share our survey results with the public.

Current Scenario Due to the raging epidemic, online classes continue... Do you have no motivation to face the computer for a long time?
3
Nowadays, online learning turns out to be more and more practiced. Many traditional universities started to share their courses online for free. It represents an easy and comfortable method to achieve knowledge in almost every field, from law and accounting, to human sciences, such as psychology and sociology or history.
Online learning is a great alternative to traditional universities, especially for people who can’t afford the time and money to take real courses

Teaching and Learning Methods Education is not the learning of facts; It's rather the training of the mind of think.
5
The term of teaching and learning method refers to the general principles, pedagogy and management strategies used for classroom instruction. Your choice of teaching and learning method depends on what fits you. For example, your educational philosophy, classroom demographic, subject areas and school mission statement.
Here is the 3 issues of teaching and learning method that I bring out is how the environment study will influence you. Besides that is how to solve the problem when facing problems and lastly is about comparison of traditional and online teaching and learning method.

Introduction

Neighbourhood is a physical built environment that we live and surrounded us. Most of us are busy in our daily routine, however during this pandemic time, we have to stay at home and carry out activities in our neighbourhood. This enables us to stop by, discover, appreciate what is happening around our life, notice daily social behaviour, share and
order to derive our neighbourhood to others, we are being divided into three groups to teach others about our neighbourhood. Each of the groups will choose a neighbourhood among their members, where the neighbourhood are Teluk Intan in Perak, Damansara in Selangor and Wangsa Maju in Kuala Lumpur. After we have completed the
artwork in a competition too which organised by Anthology. We can learn from each others and have a virtual travel experience in this pandemic time. Besides, we have to conduct an online workshop for a small group of people to build their world, notice important elements of their environment and learn about site and neighbours.

Teluk Intan’s Hidden Pearls Teluk Intan is a district capital and largest town in Perak, Malaysia. The map has three layerings of routes, local and tourist gaze. The first layer shows the official Teluk Intan map.The second layer shows roads whereas the third layer indicates usual roads used by the local residents like me. Moreover, we’ll use a station-by-station approach for visiting attractions while introducing the identities and user activities of the places. Riding on a motorcycle, the starting point is “Batu Tenggek'' (Sitting Boulder). Located at the crossroads junction, one must pass by this attraction before heading into Teluk Intan. Next stop, is the Old Court House

Next is the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan which previously a water tank. Next stop is a famous Bak Koot Teh restaurant called Restaurant Yi Pin Xiang, located at the Perak River. Hock Soon Keong Temple is a heritage temple in the area. Before the founding of Teluk Intan, people from Fujian, China settled along the banks of Perak River. Along Pasar Road, you can barely see the hidden Liew Kee Chee Cheong Fun. You buy

The Multiculturalism Within The Context of Wangsa Maju Malaysian multicultural society encompasses Malays, Chinese, Indians and indigenous communities. In the Malaysian context, ethnicity is important in the identification of one's religion as well as giving a clue of their affiliated political parties. One U Malaysia, a multi racial country, mixing with variety of cultures & traditions, and of course ,languages. In addition to producing a drawing which maps out our neighbourhood, Bandar Utama, Malaysia (BU); We will also write this statement to echo our Malaysian English to enhance the experience when you are reading it. So lehh, the drawings is inclusive of our memories, lifestyle, teenage life, and also childhood lah..Okay, let's follow the path starting from the right top, (representing the MRT line around BU area). Firstly, we will set off from our home straight to the
all the hawker stores and Mamak located. Around 8 am, we will enjoy our best breakfast half-boiled eggs and cup of kopi to start our day. After that, we will recall back some memories during our teenage life. S.M.K. Bandar Utama Damansara(3) our secondary school. You might think our secondary school life is very boring and full of diligent "studying", but in reality, it is opposite. We would sleep during class, Ponteng sekolah. After we “ponteng”, we will go to Centre Point Bandar Utama to go to McDonalds, next is CC for video games. After
house, then another friend's house until the sky is dark. Only then dowe only go home. Lastly, when we talk about the most famous Shopping mall in town 1 Utama (1U), it's so hard for anyone new to learn about 1U.It is just 10minutes drive from home. Our memories at 1U is all about entertainment, the intension of going 1u just to visit Arcade (Cross fire), Pool (U-bowl), sometimes karaoke (Neway).

Learning Outcome It is indeed enjoyable, unwind, destress, because we can take a walk, relax and have a physical "me time" rather than sitting in front of computer the whole day time.In this exercise, we manage to observe the changes in our neighbourhood, observe small things
and recall the memories behind our neighborhood. Furthermore, the imperative of importance is we learn about methodology of mapping out our neigbourhood and improve our communication skills in order to introduce our neighbourhood to others and conduct a workshop to teach people.

Home I grew up A home is built with a family. A home provides you with the community that will always be there for. Home for us is not just a house but it is a place just like a shelter where you live but you might not love it. You would have all your belongings in your home is the only reason that you love to live in. 23
The things that full of memories, the wall that you scribble in your childhood, and many more. Even when you grow up, and you move to a new house, you will still have all these things which will remind you of other homes that you have lived in. Home is a place that feels like a tight
hug: where time stands still for just a moment, where the noise of outside world is blocked out and where you can breathe it all out after being tense all day. From the moment you enter the door, you are safe, you are warm and you are loved.
