Stamping Ground

A school in Karsi Kunda | Group work Organised by the NKA Foundation | The Gambia Stamping Ground was an earth architecture workshop taking place in the Karsi Kunda village in eastern to learn about the practicalities of rammed earth, adobe brick, thatch construction, and climate appropriate development in The Gambia.

Through the workshop we immersed explored local cultures, issues, technologies and potentials. Together and developed the design utilising our new combined knowledge, and constructed a climate appropriate, vocational school.
