To ensure delivery of quality leadership development experiences, AIESEC has a set of standards to be followed for any internship we provide. We call this our Exchange Standards. They are grouped into 4 blocks, with different responsibilities from the AIESEC HOME and HOST entities.
In AIESEC we call this system Standards and Satisfaction. In order to get your own satisfaction of all this experience we put a lot of our effort in delivering all these Exchange Standards.

We will send you an email with the information required to arrange for any documents, visa or work permits that may be required, depending on your home country.
Your can find the specific activities you will do in your project in the opportunity you applied.
The activities executing your job description are a minimum of 25 hours a week.
An AIESEC Chiclayo member will pick you up from the location of pickup from your destination. You will recognize us because we will have a branded T-Shirt!
Your project in Chiclayo will last between six to eight weeks.
You will be introduced to the project supervisor on your first day of work by AIESEC Chiclayo.
Two weeks before the end of your exchange, we will send you an email and give you a written format information on how to depart from Perú.
We will provide you the main responsability and goals for your project in a written format the Seminar we prepare for you days before your first day of work. We will also send you in an email with more information!

AIESEC Chiclayo will arrange the accommodation for your stay according to the information shown in the Opportunity. We will send you the contact of your host!

We will send you the basic living costs of Chiclayo with the fee that must be paid in order to participate of the exchange. There is no financial compensation provided.

Individual Discovery & Reflection
Team Experience
It’s about a very own inner journey and personal reflection
By building a team with other people and learn about this experiences
Your manager will have a videochat with you to talk about your LDA Results and main goals for your experience in Chiclayo
virtual spaces 3 weeks before
We will create a WhatsApp group with you and other participants of your project to facilitate communication. You will also receive a mail from AIESEC Chiclayo explaining your LDA Results. One to One

Your will have your first seminar with AIESEC Chiclayo and the other exchange participants. We will talk about Chiclayo and prepare you for the cultural shock.

1st week (before your project starts) We organize for you an Incoming Preparation Seminar, with expectations and your personal goal setting as a result of an inner journey and our AIESEC leadership qualities.

On the first seminar you will participate of a very special dynamic, where you can start an inner journey. Just wait for it!
one to one Weekly
To follow up your personal goals and help you to build a plan in order to achieve them. It’s important to participate in feedback sessions with us to make this experience even better for you!
conference & seminars 2nd to 5th week
AIESEC Chiclayo will organize several seminars with differents groups of exchange participants to talk about the leadership qualities our experiences develop.
individual discovery and refLection 6th week
We will prepare for you a final meeting as an experience closing to wrap up everything you’ve learned. It will be very special!
team experience & learning circles During all the exchange
All the exchange participants will be in contact with a multinational team for each project executed with AIESEC Chiclayo, and we will facilitate spaces together.
post exchange individual discovery & refLection 2 weeks after
We will send you an email with the report of progress of your LDA and your goals with other special surprises that can help you to understand what you learned and close your experience with AIESEC Chiclayo.
