These powerpacks attach to most wheelchairs to provide powered forward and backwards movement without the need to push. Simply walk behind and squeeze the lever and let the powerpack do all the work for you.

Scooter Engineering & Servicing Batteries & Chargers Batteries are the lifeblood of your scooter or powerchair. For greater resilience and longer life spans, Clearwell recommends using gel technology batteries. Normal acid based batteries suffer from sulphation when left discharged which reduces the life of the battery. This doesn’t happen with gel batteries. Gel batteries also perform better in colder weather conditions and are more resilient to heavy use. Gel batteries can achieve a cycle life of over 600 cycles compared to 200-300 cycles on a normal lead acid battery. Please note that all scooters operate a 24v circuit and hence require 2 batteries. We are able to offer VAT free pricing on batteries where these items are fitted by our engineers to a qualifying product (eg scooter).

Tyres & Tubes We stock a wide range of replacement tyres and tubes to fit most scooters. We also sell puncture proof solid rubber tyres, which are a good option where you have experienced persistent punctures and want complete peace of mind. We offer puncture repair and tyre fitting services to local customers. Prices below exclude fitting. We are able to offer VAT free pricing on tyres and tubes where these items are fitted by our engineers to a qualifying product (eg scooter).

Riser Recliners Choosing the right Riser Recliner for you

SitnStand

Backrests There are a variety of backrest options to choose from when purchasing your new Riser Recliner. Each backrest type offers a different function or support style so you can find the perfect fit for you.

Sizing It's important that your chair is the right size for you. Many chairs in our range come in different sizes so you are fully supported in your new chair.

The SitnStand rising cushion is a revolutionary product designed to offer the rising functionality of a Riser Recliner armchair but with the benefit of being easily portable. Weighing just 3kg, the SitnStand folds up and can be easily transported in the carry bag provided. Powered by a rechargeable battery, the SitnStand has the ability to be inflated 80-90 times between charges.

Reclining Actions Riser Recliners have either single or dual motors. Single motor chairs have one motor controlling the reclining action so the footrest and backrest move together.

Charging itself takes 4-6 hours to complete and is perfect to charge overnight when not in use. The cushion inflates in 4 separate chambers each gradually giving the user more height.

Dual motor chairs allow you to control the footrest separately to the backrest. Dual motor is best where you want to sit upright with your legs raised or where you want to lie flat out.

The seat covers are made from a non-slip material fabric to prevent any sliding in use and are machine washable.

Delivery (Smaller Items) We hold stocks of all the items featured in this brochure at our distribution centre and we offer 2 delivery services (see below). Our distribution centre is closed at weekends and bank holidays and therefore we do not dispatch on those days. We use a range of national couriers and Royal Mail to deliver your order. The delivery may take place at any time during the working day and unfortunately, we cannot request specific times. The package must be signed for. We offer two delivery services. Our Express Delivery service prioritises your order over standard shipments and is sent on a next day delivery service (orders received before 3pm). Our Standard Delivery service normally takes 3-5 working days for delivery.

Non Mainland Charges For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highland & Islands and Scilly Isles there is a charge of £8.95 and we can only offer standard deliveries (3-6 days). For deliveries to the Republic of Ireland there is a charge of £12.95 and we can only offer standard delivery (3-6 days).

Delivery (Larger Items) All larger, motorised products are delivered by our in-house delivery teams. In order to provide responsive after sales care, we limit the sale of these items to an area of approximately 60 miles from our distribution centre in West Sussex. The table opposite sets out the delivery postcodes for these items. We are not able to deliver Home Delivery items outside of these areas.

Delivery on all Home Delivery items is free and lead times vary from a few days to a few weeks.
