Our school aims for the highest of standards and achievement for all our pupils. We believe that success can only be achieved through close partnership between the school and the home. ACHIEVING AND WORKING TOGETHER We aim to provide an education that enables all our pupils from Foundation stage to Upper Key Stage Two, to achieve skills in reading, writing, mathematics, technology with in a creative. Inspirational and practical curriculum. A range of teaching and learning strategies are used to ensure that all children are able to fulfil their potential. We teach our pupils the value of teamwork and the social skills of working together that will enable them to work effectively and cooperatively with others in all areas of life. We encourage children to take an active role in their learning. Opportunities to develop leadership skills and to have a Pupil voice are supported. We have a highly skilled, trained and dedicated staff team who are all committed to achieving and working together as a team to support the achievement of our pupils. We welcome parent volunteers and students from a range of colleges and universities.

CURRICULUM We aim to inspire and motivate the creative ability of all our pupils. A broad creative curriculum is offered to all pupils including music, dance, drama and art. A wide range of activities and clubs are offered to children to develop these skills further. We have a strong emphasis on sport and physical development. All pupils from Foundation to Upper Key Stage Two have opportunities to participate in gymnastics, dance, games, athletics and swimming in year five. There are many opportunities for trips and visits to places of interest to enhance the pupils learning outside of school. In Upper Key Stage Two a residential trip is offered for the pupils.
