1. Cut six crayons into small pieces and divide evenly between three heart moulds. If you fill the mould to the top, the heart will be thicker and heavier.

3. Remove the mould from the microwave or oven and set it aside to cool completely. Once cool, pop out the heart crayons to reveal the marbled pattern on the smooth side!

6. Tie a bow over the knot and trim the excess raffia. 2. To melt the crayons, place the silicone mould into an oven or microwave. DO NOT leave the crayons unattended whilst melting them. If you are using an oven, bake at 150°C for approximately 5 minutes. If you are using a microwave, we heated our hearts for approximately 8 minutes. Timing for each will vary based on individual appliance, so be sure to keep watch so the crayons don’t smoke and burn!

4. Cut a 1m length of purple raffia. Stack your three hearts on top of one another with the raffia underneath the smooth side. Bring the two ends of raffia up and cross them over.

7. Download and print out the template on page 10. Cut out the template and hole punch a hole. Thread the raffia through the hole and attach to your bow. Tie a double knot to secure. 5. Flip the hearts over, holding the raffia in place. Thread the top end under the middle and the bottom end under the middle. Pull tight slightly, then tie a knot to secure.

8. Your Valentine Heart Crayons are now ready to gift to someone you love!
