1. Print and cut out the template provided on page 10. Trace around the template shape onto a sheet of felt and cut out. 2. Draw cross-hatching lines with a brown or black marker to create ice cream cone details. 3. Roll the felt into a cone so the design is on the outside. Use a glue gun to apply glue along the edge to secure in place. Allow to dry.
4. Choose two felt balls and apply glue to the rim of the cone. Place one ball inside the cone on the glue. Allow to dry. Glue the other ball on top and allow to dry.
7. Cut 10 x 9.5cm lengths of yellow embroidery thread and fold in half. Cut a 40cm length of orange embroidery thread and tie around the yellow thread close to the top. Wrap the remaining thread around and tie another knot to secure. 5. Thread a 40cm length of red embroidery thread through a needle. Tie a knot in the opposite end. Thread through the top of the top felt ball. Thread the needle through the last link on the keyring chain.
8. Attach the tassel with an extra piece of embroidery thread. Thread the length through the keyring chain and through a few loops in the tassel. Tie a knot to attach to the keyring. 6. Thread the needle back through the ball under the link, and then back through the link. Pull the thread out of the needle and tie a double knot to secure the keyring in place. Trim the excess thread.
9. Your Ice Cream Cone Keyring is now ready to use!
