Pom Pom Bunny

Materials:

• Soft Yarn – 100g – Set of 10 Colours – 12257

• Foam Sheets – Large – Pack of 10 – 10788

• CleverPatch™ Tacky Glue – 250ml – 16494

• Wiggle Eyes Black – 1cm – Pack of 100 – 10815

• Other Materials Required: Templates (page 13), thick, sturdy cardboard and scissors.

1. Use the templates provided on page 13 to cut out the 2 pom pom maker shapes from sturdy cardboard such as an old box.

2. Cut a 15m length of yarn in your chosen colour. Wrap the yarn around the smaller cardboard template, covering the end with the split in it as shown.

3. Cut a 20cm length of yarn and thread it through the split in the pom pom maker. Tie the yarn tightly around the middle of the wrapped yarn as shown.

4. Slide your scissors up between the pom pom maker and the yarn. Cut the looped ends of the yarn along the top and bottom edge.

5. Remove the yarn from the pom pom maker and trim it down to create a nice, fluffy pom pom.

6. Repeat steps 2-5, this time using the large pom pom maker and a 26m length of yarn to start. You will now have a large and small pom pom.

7. Use tacky glue to join the pom poms together. The easiest way is to stick the small pom pom on top of the large pom pom and once dry, you can lay on its side as shown.

8. Cut some ears and a nose from soft foam. Glue the nose to the front and the ears to the top of the small pom pom. You will be able to push the ears into the yarn. Allow to dry.

9. Glue 2 wiggle eyes in place to complete the face. Allow to dry. Your Pom Pom Bunny is now ready to display or gift for Easter!
