1. Take 150g of clay and roll out flat to approximately 5mm thick. Make sure it’s large enough to cover the template on page 13.

2. Print and cut out the template on page 13 and place over your clay. Cut out the bunny shape by tracing around it with a needle tool. Wrap the excess clay up for use on another project.

3. Use your finger to gently smooth around the edges of the bunny.

4. Carefully poke a hole in the top centre of the bunny using a needle tool as shown. Allow the bunny to dry completely.

5. Even though the clay is dry, it will still be fragile. Add some coats of the gloss finish to give it a little more strength. Allow the gloss to dry between coats.

6. Once the gloss has cured completely, cut a 30cm piece of twine and add a hanger. Tie one end through the hole in the top. Thread on some beads and create a loop at the top for hanging.

7. Wrap brightly coloured yarn around the bottom half of your design. You can wrap more than one colour or cover the whole thing - get creative! Your Clay Bunny Ornament is now ready to hang!
