The CLIC Axial series of water chillers are designed to deliver optimum performance with minimal maintenance. The units have compact dimensions (86¾”x32¾”x 83¼“) that allow for easy manipulation (can be hoisted by a service elevator). The modular installation versatility allows for more capacity on demand simply by adding additional modules. The CLIC Axial series has a vertical discharge fans, which makes it ideal for installations where space and location are a factor.
SERIE CLIC
The CLIC series comes in modules of 25TR which can be combined in Tandem installations under the scheme of “Mother” and “Son” units which allow reaching up to 350TR total capacity. The units can be installed to a single point or multipoint connection. The CLIC series can have variable or fixed (EC) fans of high quality that adapt in a precise way to the demand and pressure drop during normal operation of the system. The CLIC Axial series of water chillers are internationally certified by AHRI guaranteeing their performance, electrical consumption and safety. Due to the limited use of R410A chlorine and boron free refrigerant, the CLIC series units can be considered for LEED projects. The series are available with Inverter compressors (“mother” units) or fixed compressors (“son” units) in voltages 220/3/60 and 440/3/60. Inverter compressors have been shown to have efficiency up to 30% higher compared to fixed speed systems. All compressors in the CLIC series are mounted on a “double suspension” system that absorbs vibrations, making them quieter. All CLIC series units have real-time monitoring and protection of the electrical power supplied to the compressor, prolonging thus the useful life of this critical component.
The CLIC Axial series can be configured for cooling only and / or heat pump, allowing cold or hot water to be delivered. The CLIC family of equipment uses the open communication protocol Modbus RTU and BacNET (optional), thus ensuring its easy integration into existing control and monitoring systems. CLIC units are ready to be connected to computer networks under the TCP/IP protocol, allowing simple connection, operation and monitoring within local area networks (LAN) and their remote monitoring and operation via an Internet connection (WAN). CLIC units can be equipped with smoke, fire and flood sensors and programmed with different logic and protocols in case abnormal conditions are detected (send alert messages, shut off valves, shut down the unit, call emergency services, etc.). The paint used in the CLIC series is baked powder, the application exceeds the 1,500 hour saline chamber test providing a high quality corrosion-proof finish. The structural resistance of the CLIC series is achieved thanks to the use of high quality galvanized steel ranging from 16 to 22 gauges. The Mother units have a waterproof 7” high-definition color touch-screen control panel through which the user interacts with the system. The aluminum Micro-Channel condenser provides high efficiency thanks to its optimum heat exchange, reduced design and low internal volume reduces the amount of refrigerant needed making the CLIC series the most efficient and eco-friendly in its class. The efficient CLIC series welded plate evaporator transfers heat with high performance saving space, energy and maintenance. The balancing valve installed on all CLIC family units ensures the right water flow to maintain optimum performance under all operating conditions. Son units have an isolation valve that interrupts the flow of water independently, allowing maintenance of a tandem installation without the need to shut down all the units in the installation. The CLIC series has an anti-corrosion coating that protects the metal components for up to 3 years in the most adverse conditions. Different protection application options (interior and exterior components) are available from the factory. The units may include internal or external fixed or variable water pumps.
