Dear Guest, As the safety and security of our Guests, staff and ship is our primary concern, we would like to take a moment to familiarize you with Regent Seven Sea Cruises’ Smoking Policy and new International Maritime Organization regulations governing fire safety. For the safety of all Guests and staff onboard, Designated Smoking Areas are available at: Connoisseur Club, designated areas of the Pool Bar, Horizon Lounge (outside area only) and Stars Night Club. Cigar smoking is permitted in the Designated Smoking Area of the Pool Bar, and within the Connoisseur Club, while pipe smoking is only permitted within the Connoisseur Club. All areas other than those specified as Designated Smoking Areas will remain smoke-free. This includes all Guest suites and balconies. Guests are kindly reminded that smoking is expressly forbidden in your suite or in any areas of the ship other than officially-designated Smoking Areas. Smoking in your suite or on your balcony represents a serious fire and safety hazard to you, your fellow Guests and the ship’s staff. Guests choosing to disregard this policy will be disembarked at the next port of call and may also be subject to monetary penalties that will be imposed to cover the costs associated with any damage to and the required cleaning of furnishings, balcony and surrounding deck and accommodation areas. In compliance with newly enacted International Maritime Organization regulations governing fire safety, we kindly ask that you refrain from leaving towels and other personal belongings on your balcony. For your convenience, Suite Attendants will remove any personal items from your balcony during the course of their evening housekeeping duties and place them back in your suite. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter and appreciate your assistance in enforcing Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Smoking Policy.

Kind Regards,

Mark Conroy, President

These requirements apply to incidents that occur onboard in U.S. territorial waters, on the high seas or in foreign waters if the assailant or victim is a U.S. national. The F.B.I. can assert criminal jurisdiction in all of these circumstances. Each of the nations visited, as well as the vessel’s nation of registry, may also assert jurisdiction and/or impose additional reporting requirements. Regent Seven Seas Cruises reserves the right to report any/all criminal allegations to any national, state or local law enforcement agency in addition to those mentioned. For missing persons or felonies arising at any time during the voyage, you may independently contact the F.B.I. or U.S. Coast Guard. For incidents within state or foreign waters or ports, you may, in addition, contact local law enforcement authorities. Basics of Shipboard Safety Your complete safety and well-being aboard the ship is our highest priority. The ship is equipped with advanced and sophisticated technology that complies with or exceeds the International Maritime Organization’s Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulations. For your protection, the ship is equipped with automatic sprinklers, smoke and fire detection and fire alarm systems. All staff undergoes weekly training comprised of emergency drills, abandon ship drills, and fire drills. During training, we kindly ask you to keep clear of areas in which drills are being conducted. Regent Seven Seas Cruises believes that drills, training, knowledge and vigilance by all staff will reduce the risk of emergencies and minimize the consequences of accidents.

Environmental Notice Regent Seven Seas Cruises values the environment and is committed to protecting and preserving environmental resources, preventing pollution and continually improving environmental management. We maintain a very strict Zero Tolerance policy in regards to disposal of any refuse into the seas. Receptacles have been conveniently placed throughout the ship for your use and we kindly request you refrain from dumping any waste overboard. Kindly discard any unused soaps, detergents and pharmaceuticals to your solid waste receptacle and not into the sinks or toilets. Discarding any objects into the onboard toilet system can lead to plumbing stoppages and extreme inconvenience to large number of your fellow Guests. Although there are no limits to your use of baths and showers, remember that extended bathing produces larger amounts of waste water that must be processed. Please report any incidents or violations of any of the above policies to the nearest staff member so we may take immediate, corrective action. Your cooperation in this very important endeavor is greatly appreciated.

Evacuation Plan The Evacuation Plan on the back of your suite door will inform you about many aspects of safety aboard the ship, including the location of your Muster Station. The Muster Stations are meeting points for all Guests in an emergency situation so that further directions can be given in a calm and orderly fashion. In the event of an Emergency: • In the case of an actual emergency, low level lighting will be activated. This will indicate your escape route to an exit. • Remember to put on warm clothing, comfortable shoes and bring the comforter from your suite. Also bring any medication you require. • If for any reason you are not able to return to your suite, proceed directly to your Muster Station, where a life jacket will be provided for you. • In the case of an actual emergency, do not use the elevators.

Lifeboats and Life Rafts In accordance with the requirements of the International Maritime Organization, the ship is equipped with lifeboats and life rafts to accommodate all persons onboard, in fact more than the total number of Guests and crew aboard at any given time.

Lifeboat Drill In compliance with International Maritime Law, all Guests must attend and participate in at least one mandatory Emergency and Lifeboat Drill on each cruise. The purpose of this drill is to familiarize our Guests with the routine safety procedures on the ship such as life jacket use as well as Muster and Lifeboat locations. The date and time of the Guest Lifeboat Drill will be listed in

Passages, the ship’s daily newsletter. The Lifeboat Drill will commence with the Emergency Signal,

which is seven short blasts, followed by one long blast from the ship’s whistle, and ringing of the ship’s alarm bells. If Guests are not already in their suites, they are required to proceed to their suite, put on their life jackets, and follow the instructions given over the Public Address system as well as those in the evacuation plan on the back of the suite door. Crew members will be stationed in the corridors and stairwells to guide you to the Muster Station. During the Lifeboat Drill, all ship services will be closed, as all Staff members must attend this very important exercise. The Salon and Spa will not accept appointments during the drill.

Lifeboat Stations After the exercise is completed at the Muster Stations, Guests will be guided to the Lifeboat Stations. The purpose is to demonstrate the complete procedure to be followed in the event of an actual emergency.

Life Jackets Please familiarize yourself with the location of the life jackets in your suite; they are stored in the closet. Please ensure that you have at least one life jacket per person in your suite. If a child-size life jacket is required or if additional adult life jackets are required, please request them from your Steward/Stewardess. You will be trained on the proper use of your life jacket and procedures for an emergency during the lifeboat drill. All life jackets aboard the ship are made of orange fabric with retro-reflective tape, and feature both a whistle and a light. The life jackets that you find in your suite are marked with the ship’s name, country of registry, and Muster Station number. Please do not remove the life jackets from your suite except during the Lifeboat Drill or in case of an emergency.

Muster Stations Upon hearing the signal, Guests are requested, through the Public Address system, to return to their suites, put on their life jackets, and proceed to their Muster Station, which is where Guests assemble in the case of an emergency. Staff members will be at the Emergency Stations directing Guests to their Muster Stations and aiding any Guests who require assistance. We request that our Guests do not use the elevators during this drill, as in an actual emergency, the elevators could become inoperable. Once the emergency signal is sounded, Staff members will check suite sections to ensure that all Guests have evacuated the area. Once all Guests have proceeded to their Muster Station, Staff members will verify that all Guests are accounted for and are wearing their life jackets properly. After all Guest life jackets have been checked, Guests will be informed over the Public Address system of the importance of this drill in accordance with instructions given by International Maritime Law.

Safety Tips Although every effort has been made with both mechanical equipment and in the training of the ship’s Staff, it is necessary to point out that safety greatly depends on the human element. Therefore, we request your cooperation and observations in our efforts to avoid accidents: • When using the ship’s elevators, make sure that you do not exceed the head count or weight capacity. Watch your step as you enter and exit the elevator. • Many doorways throughout the ship are raised for marine safety purposes, and Guests are requested to be especially careful of these raised areas leading to outside decks, public restrooms, suite bathrooms and other areas. • The natural motion of the ship can cause doors to swing open or shut. We kindly request that you be careful with fingers, hands and feet, and to keep them away from door frames. • Handrails are provided on all stairways, and we ask that you use these handrails when going up and down stairways, especially during adverse weather conditions. • Remember the phrase “slippery when wet.” Rain, sea spray, dew, and our routine washing of the decks can cause them to be wet and slippery. For this reason, we recommend that you wear lowheeled shoes with good tread when out on open decks. We also suggest that joggers and walkers using the fitness track wear proper footwear, and avoid these activities during adverse weather. • During the shows, presentations and performances in the lounges, the lights will be dimmed. For this reason, we kindly recommend that you arrive prior to the commencement of the event. Please use extreme caution when moving around or exiting a darkened room. • Please remember to test the temperature of showers and baths before entering the water. • We are very concerned about the well-being of our Guests. For this reason, if you should experience any form of accident or injury, please contact the Medical Center or Reception, or inform a Staff member immediately. • The risk of fire is a very serious matter onboard a ship. If you suspect a fire, in any form, contact the nearest Staff member immediately. Our Staff is highly trained and has the knowledge to act on any situation. • The use of candles onboard is strictly forbidden in the suites. Lit candles create a serious fire hazard and jeopardize the safety of everyone on board. • Use of portable electrical appliances such as personal hair dryers, water boilers or coffee machines are restricted. If you have any doubts, please clarify with a Staff member.

Special Advice for Hearing Impaired and Physically Challenged Guests If you are hearing impaired or physically challenged, please notify Reception immediately upon embarkation. In case of an emergency, Staff members will then be aware of your special needs and will be assigned to assist you. If you will require assistance during the mandatory Lifeboat Drill, please advise Reception.

EXPLANATION OF RATES AND CHARGES Mobile phone service is provided by Wireless Maritime Service and requires compatible wireless phone and qualified wireless service with a service provider that has a roaming agreement with Wireless Maritime Service. Your home network will determine the international roaming rates you pay for usage. Wireless Maritime Service provides GSM voice and GPRS data service. Other service features may not be available. Voice usage is measured during the time you are connected to our system, which is approximately from the time you press the button that initiates or answers the call until approximately the time the first party terminates the call. Data usage for each billing record will be rounded up to the next kilobyte and a cost will be associated with each billing record and rounded to the nearest cent. Availability, timeliness and reliability of service are subject to radio transmission limitations caused by system capacity, system repairs and modifications, your equipment, signal strength, weather and other conditions. You will only be able to call and text message to certain countries. Other restrictions and limitations apply for service. Both the GSM logo and the GSM letter mark are trademarks of the GSM Association. All other marks are the property of their respective owners. Wireless Maritime Service and your home carrier are not affiliates of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and are solely responsible for the services, charges and customer service support provided to you.

CHARGES, BILLING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE Rates for usage of your cellular phone are determined by your service provider. Please note that calls to 800, 888, 866, and 877 numbers are not toll free. You will be billed by your service provider for your international roaming usage on your regular mobile phone bill. It can take up to 60 days for charges acquired while using your cellular phone to appear on your phone bill. For more information, please contact your service provider customer advisor.

QUESTIONS Please note that Regent Seven Seas personnel do not have access to your service information or billing records. Actual service availability depends on home carrier participation and service permissions. For questions about your service or about billing, please contact your service provider customer advisor.
