The UK’s First TRADE ONLY Event for the sector
An Event Whose Time Has Come Trade Days is the first trade only, business to business event for manufacturers, suppliers and importers of specialist equipment in the rehabilitation, independent living, mobility, assistive technology and associated specialist sectors. It runs on a Sunday and Monday making it as easy as possible for small business owners to attend with minimum business disruption and takes place alongside a well-established event - The Pharmacy Show - which attracts over 6,000 pharmacy professionals, many of whom are already active in the Trade Days market sector.
Drive Medical is eager to support a trade only exhibition. We feel that the inclusion of a weekend exhibition day will encourage attendance by many retailers who otherwise might not be able to make it during the working week, and we are looking forward to exhibiting at this new event in 2014.
This is something that we welcome. Being able to spend the time to have more focused retail business discussions at a dedicated event will make the two days an effective use of everyone’s time.

This is an event that the industry has been crying out for a dedicated event when the trade can meet up with no distractions and can spend some focussed time on business issues. Chris Manning, UK Sales Director, Patterson Medical

Manufacturers, retailers and other members of the trade can meet and talk business in an environment that includes stands, demonstration areas, one-to-one speed networking, meeting areas and seminar theatres. The educational content will be a mix of product training combined with technical and business advice such as merchandising, marketing, growth strategies and exit plans. To assist manufacturers wanting to demonstrate their entire product ranges, host meetings and run their own technical and educational briefings, there are specifically agreed discounted space prices to facilitate this.
Well Supported Trade Days is being supported by Medtrade and offers all Medtrade exhibitors and visitors the perfect opportunity to develop business through the UK and Europe. Exhibit to find distributors for your products in both UK and export markets. Medtrade welcomes visitors from 48 countries. The show is also supported by BHTA Engage, the commercial arm of the British Healthcare Trades Association, which has over 500 member companies, MediLink UK, an organisation with hundreds of members from all sectors of the medical and healthcare technology market, and the Disability Living Foundation (DLF) - a well-established charity that provides impartial guidance and advice to help people with disabilities live independently, and is another well-established route to retailers.
A Different Marketing Approach Excellent data: Working with the main association and media partner in the industry, Trade Days has access to excellent communication channels and data to help generate awareness and promote the benefits of attending.
Retailers’ information pack: Trade Days will be sending an information pack to over 1,500 retail owners with event details relevant to the owner, sales rep and technicians. New product launches, special offers and demonstrations from the show floor will be a key feature.
Telemarketing: It is important to us that our delegates receive special treatment and our telemarketing team will be calling every retail outlet to aid the registration process. This will also provide the perfect opportunity to promote the event’s special features, making sure our core audience will know how much they can benefit from attending one or two days.
VIP Programme: Our in-house research team are working through data to qualify and enrol retailer owners, product specifiers and technicians in order to invite each person to become a founding visitor and benefit from the additional incentives on offer as a VIP delegate (Including free parking, lunch and preferential access to the on-floor business lounges). An event like this is a long time coming. This will be a true value adding business opportunity for both suppliers and retailers. Chris French, Cinque Ports Mobility
I haven’t been to an exhibition for four years. This new event is somewhere that team members can go and have the time to meet the people they talk to everyday on the telephone and get to know them better face to face. We are looking forward to being there.
Fantastic news and a real step forward for the industry. At last a real ‘Trade’ show where suppliers and retailers can talk sensibly toether without interruptions. It will certainly be a show that we can encourage our team to visit.
