2. Attendance- see attached sign in sheet 3. Minutes – Minutes were approved as read. 4. Treasurer’s Report – Balance on hand was.$4,158.43 5. Unfinished Business a. Finals Survival Kits- They were sold in front of the office and the project was a success, bringing in $148. We also gave the extra supplies to the Food Pantry for distribution during the month of December. b. DCM/X-Mas Cheer project- This was a community-wide project, held in Petaluma after the DCM. We helped distribute food and toys for the less fortunate. c. Food Pantry- Atziry briefed us on what happened, and how it was a blast to help the community in that way. Everyone who was involved was thanked. d. Website use- PLEASE visit it! There’s lots of good “stuff” on it. There is information about District Convention, the January calendar, pictures from December, club member’s service hour records and Key Club Bucks records. 6. New Business a. Christmas review- Maggie asked our club how our break was, and multiple members shared things that happened. b. Kiwanis Board Sleuth- Was on January 4th, three members attended, and Alayna briefed the club about what the Kiwanis did at their Board meeting.

c. Coats for Kids i. Division Contest- Whichever club brings the most coats will be rewarded with a pizza party. We are still collecting items through next Tuesday! ii. Distributing flyers at churches, around town- Atziry and Maggie are taking care of the Catholic Church. Jessie volunteered to see that the flyers got to the Mormon Church and Lillian volunteered to take them to the Baptist Church. iii. Contest on campus- We’ll discuss it next week. iv. Winner of today’s contest- Alayna was congratulated and given a Starbucks gift card. d. Member Recognition- Jessie, and Bailey won Officers of the Month for November and December. Omar and Carmen were each awarded Member of the Month for November and December. They received certificates for the school portfolios. e. DCM/Conclave- Any members who want to become an officer for 2016-17 should attend. Present officers should also attend. The date is January 16th. We’ll leave CHS around 8 a.m. and return home around 2 p.m. f.

Knights of Columbus Dinner- This is from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Citrus Fair on January 16th. This is a huge event and we need as many members as we can get, so sign up!

g. Selling Snack Zone Packs- These will be distributed to members next week, and it is a great way to make money for events like DCON, Key Leader, and ICON. h. Work on various award applications-There is a sign-up sheet; the applications are due on February 10th. We’ll start working on them every day next week, after school. i.

Officer elections- Mrs. Cummins passed out applications to interested members. We seemed to fill most positions. Anyone interested contact Sue. Applications are due back on January 19th. Elections will take place on January 26th.

Read & Movie-A-Thon- Is an all-night event to raise money for the Nepal earthquake. There is a $10 entry, and the actual “a-thon” will be 4 hours long. Then, everyone can “party” the rest of the night! It’s scheduled for Sunday evening, January 17th because there is no school that Monday.

k. January calendar- Shared on the tables. It was asked if it’s still a good idea to mail them home. Members said that it did help. 7. Adjournment: 1:21 p.m. Minutes Approved by Club President
