2. Attendance- see attached sign in sheet 3. Minutes – Minutes were approved as read. 4. Treasurer’s Report- The balance on hand was $2,524.56 5. Committee Reports a. Diverse-A-Dish Dinner- Lillian explained about the Diverse-a-Dish Dinner and we need our members to be committed to making the food and bringing it to the event. Sell tickets for fundraising to get to DCON. i. DCON video- Atziry showed a video to members about DCON. Helen spoke about DCON. Many seemed interested on going. 6. Unfinished Business a. Fall Rally- Members were happy about making it to final spirit round, although we didn’t win. b. Kiwanis Marathon- Members helped our Kiwanis at the Marathon and enjoyed it. This event was a success; about $20,000 was fundraised for books for children. c. Kiwanis meeting attendance- Yatziri and Deysi are going this week. 7. New Business a. Halloween Party preparation- Wednesday, we will be making sandwich boards for members to wear to advertise the party. There is a costume competition at the party.

b. Kiwanis LTG Installation Dinner- Five members are going to the event and need to wear baseball attire to match the theme. c. Shine Day- We’ll be making Halloween masks. It’s on Friday. d. Halloween Party- Members will be carrying pumpkins around to advertise the party saying, “Don’t forget about the Party”. It’s on Halloween day at lunchtime in Room 5. 8.
