New Business: • AAR Recommendations for July- Sophie gave a presentation about ways to raise this score. • Summer Activities calendari. Beach Clean-up-The 11th of July (more information on the flyer), it is EXTREMELY important to fill out an Event Request Form. ii. CMN work session and DCM- 19th of July (more information on flyer) iii. Kiwanis Family House project- 25th of July (more information on flyer) • PTP fundraising ideas- Trisha mentioned that you can easily plan a dine and donate during the summer time. She said that you could coordinate it to be that same night as back to school night. You should start to plan for getting the 250 dollars now. A fun activity could be pie-a-Key-Clubber and involve the Kiwanis members to pay to pie a Key Clubber. • PTP information- Greg Carter came and talked to us about what PTP is and how the money is used to help children stay healthy. PTP is funded by Kiwanis because the way children need to be treated is different than adults, so all the

medical equipment needed is different. PTP is about children - preventing trauma and helping those who have suffered from it. Setting goals for our clubs- Mr. Carter also talked about this. For PTP - Harlin is asking for $250 for PTP from each club. (Summer is a great time to plan fundraising events.) Our division goal is to raise 3000 dollars for PTP to take to Fall Rally. For other important club goals – the district is recommending the following: have five service events a month; do five hours of service per member per month, and add five members to your club. Next DCM- Sunday, July 19th at the CMN Service Project – 2- 4 p.m. at the Round Table Pizza on Montecito Rd.

Adjournment: 2:13 p.m.
