Casa Grande- Not present iii. Cloverdale- Finished phonebook deliveries, planned for June iv. Healdsburg- Nothing, due to everyone being gone, planning a Board meeting in July v. Humboldt- Not present vi. Maria Carrillo-Not present vii. Montgomery-Water bottle sales at graduation, helped with a Kiwanis pancake breakfast at Oakmont viii. Piner-First week of June had a graduation sale, raised $550, sold ribbon leis, raised $150; sales will go to PTP and Eliminate, Board meeting soon ix. Santa Rosa-Had a Board meeting, planning for July x. Sonoma Valley-Planning a Board meeting for own beach clean-up xi. Windsor-Father’s Day breakfast with Kiwanis at the Town Green, garage sale July 9th
IV.
Unfinished Business a. Division t-shirt contesti. Fatima went over t-shirt submissions, gave 3 minutes for each club to decide on the 2 they liked best. 1. Shirts 4 and 6 were the finalists 2. Took a vote between those two: T-shirt 4 won. It was designed by Jasmine Aguilar from Piner. The dinosaur on the front is a “Jurassic Park”-looking dino. b. Summer activities i. Each club is asked to fundraise a minimum $250 for the PTP cause, in order to go to Fall Rally. Montgomery and Piner have raised money so far. ii. Fatima talked about D32 Facebook and Instagram communication. iii. She also showed a picture of whole calendar for the summer and went over the activities for the month of July.
V.
New Business: a. AAR recommendations for July-Brandon presented. i. Fatima and Sue went over how to complete an “Event Request Form”, which is required for the Beach Clean-Up. ii. Annaleigh, from Montgomery shared an Idea for member recognition, called “Service Olympics”. Members in their club will be recognized for having completed a certain number of service activities over the summer, receiving, bronze, silver and gold recognition. b. July DCM- July 23rd i. 11-3 p.m. at Goat Rock Beach
ii. There will be a “Beach Olympics� as part of the day. 1. Clubs will be assigned onto either a purple or gold team. Depending upon their assignment, attendees from that club are asked to wear appropriate colors for their team. VI. VII.
