2. Attendance- see attached sign in sheet 3. The minutes from the previous Board meeting were read and approved. 4. The balance in the Treasurer’s Report was: $988.33. 5. Committee Reports a. Senior Center Garden project- Currently on hold, due to the city needing to build a fence. b. CHS Table Painting project- Is spearheaded by Bailey, and work sessions are two or three days a week, at 9:00 a.m. at CHS. c. Mandela Day- Is on Saturday; we hope to be scraping off paint and digging holes at the Wallace House. 6. Unfinished Business a. CMN Day for Division 32- Bailey moved to reimburse Mr. Cummins $38.48 for socks for the event. Seconded. Passed. b. Kiwanis Family House project-Fundraising in front of Ray’s on several days, starting on the 15th. Actual event is this coming Saturday, July 25th. See sign in sheet for members who are attending. 7. New Business a. Supplies for scrapbook- Alayna moved that we reimburse Mrs. Cummins $200 for the scrapbook. Seconded. Passed.

CNH|KEY CLUB b. Membership dues- Were to be collected by those who haven’t yet paid. c. Division/District/International projectsi. Attending DCMs- Lillian, Rose, and Bailey are attending the one in July. 1. July 19th – CMN Day July 19th from 2-4 p.m. in Santa Rosa at Round Table Pizza. 2. August 22nd – REFB Day- from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Being held at the Food Bank. ii. PTP program/CMN project1. Friday Night Live – paper plane grid. Members spearheading are Paige Jessie, and Landon. (People donate to the cause and are then given a piece of paper to make into an airplane, which they try to fly and land on the grid, winning prizes.) a. By July 31st, members in charge will go around and ask FNL booths to donate a prize for a grid. b. During the month of August, we’ll set up with the Kiwanis booth, and do the fundraiser. 2. Friday Night Live – sock making project- People can puff paint decorate socks, and either leave them for us to take to the Oakland Children’s Hospital, or pay a donation to CMN to be able to take them home. d. Kiwanis Events and Activitiesi. Food Pantry- Sign-ups are needed for the first two Fridays in August, from 1-3 p.m. each time. ii. Kiwanis Board meeting- Is occurring on Monday, August 3rd. Jessie, Liam and Lillian have agreed to be there. iii. Board-2-Board event- Members decided for the location to be at the City Park from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, August 8th. Key Clubbers will serve fruit, donuts, coffee, and water. Activities will be “two truths and a lie”, and a discussion of mutual goals. iv. Kiwanis meeting attendance- on July 16th Lillian, and Rose said that they would attend. July 23rd Jessie volunteered. August 6th will be Bailey, August 20th will be Alayna and August 27th will be Lillian.

Sometime in August, still to be

determined, the ICON attendees will be the program.

CNH|KEY CLUB e. General club businessi. Committees- Jessie put together an index card process that will provide a means of remembering what people signed up to do; Board members were encouraged to take on being a Chairperson and/or Secretary for at least two committees. Paige agreed to Chair the PTP committee. ii. Recruitment- School Orientation; we’ll have shifts for meeting and encouraging new members. Rose is in charge of freshman. Alayna, Maggie, Paige and Jessie will all help with the table. There is a work session on August 9th in the Library at ???? to prepare. Vice Presidents have been assigned a deadline of August 3rd for creating recruitment posters. iii. Member Orientation- An agenda has been created by the Vice Presidents. Further details will be determined at the August Board meeting. iv. Newsletters for the club- Maggie is making the newsletter for the month of July. ICON will be done by Lillian; PTP fundraiser by Paige; Beach Clean-Up by Rose; Table painting by Bailey; Senior Center Garden Project by Carmen; Kiwanis Family House by Maggie; CMN Day of division by Maggie; and Mandela Day by Liam. v. Paige will be creating the August newsletter. Table Painting and DCM will be written by Bailey; Kiwanis LTG Installation Dinner will be by Maggie; PTP will be done by Paige; Club Orientation will be done by Alayna, and Board-2-Board event and Special Olympics will be written by Jessie. f.

August calendar- See calendar for further details. i. Maggie moved to accept the calendar with changes. The date of the first club meeting was changed to the 25th. The event on the 26th was a change in tme. Seconded. Passed.
