2. Attendance- see attached sign in sheet 3. The minutes from the previous Board meeting were read and approved. 4. The balance in the Treasurer’s Report was: $3112.12 5. Unfinished Business a. Communication system-Was handed out – covered information regarding the officers duties, and yearly roles. No adjustments were made. b. Valley Fire project- Marty is in the process of getting in contact with the Middletown Lions Club, to see about actually going over there to help with clean-up. Maggie, Marty, and Dru, Lillian, Helen and Jessie volunteered to inform the school of the fundraiser we will be hosting. They will go around to classes and put out collection canisters on Friday. c. Member Orientation- Will be held on October 7th, instead of September 30th. Helen, Maggie & Paige are in charge of this event. d. September club newsletter- Will be made by Helen; there was a sign-in sheet to assign members to write articles. e. Follow through on Nepal speaker- Paige will take charge and she suggest that it be postponed until PTP fundraising is over. 6. New Business a. Food Pantry project- Members were asked to bag rice and beans into smaller bags.

CNH|KEY CLUB b. Shine Day- Will be held on Friday, and we will be painting ceramic tiles to turn them into refrigerator magnets. c. Saturday’s eventsi. River Clean-Up- Will be from 9 a.m. to noon. ii. Havana Nights- Will be from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m., members must wear professional clothes. d. Fall Rally sign-ups– See sign-in sheet for specific members who plan to attend. e. Oktoberfest- will be on October 3rd, see sign-in sheet for various shifts. f.
Kiwanis Take-Over meeting- Jessie will work with the Kiwanis president to organize. (The event was scheduled for October 15th, but has since been moved to October 22nd at the Kiwanis President’s request.)
