Robyn Howe is 2015 Clovis High school graduate and valedictorian. She participated in many activities during high school, including band, yearbook, cross country, track, Spanish club, student council, National Honor Society, prom committee, tennis and youth group. Howe’s most memorable moment in high school was the
Howe plans on attending college at the University of New Mexico. “I want to study to become a neurologist there,” she said. If she had an unlimited source of money, she would spend it on a pony, a white Audi R8, all the clothes and shoes she’s ever wanted and traveling to all the places she’s ever wanted to visit. “Then I would make sure to give some of the money to my siblings for college, and make sure to buy my parents a nice little home in Hawaii where they can
retire. I would spend the rest by continuously donating to churches and charities around the world,” she said. Some advice she would like to give to underclassmen is to not ever procrastinate. “It doesn’t matter if you have three weeks to finish something, don’t wait until the day before it’s due. Always ask questions, even if you feel embarrassed. It’s better to know something than to not know. Attend every game, dress up for spirit week, and go to every dance! Make every day count,” she said. She envisions her life in 10 years graduated from medical school with a master’s degree in neurology, working on her residency and married with one kid.

William Ramsey
Name: John Vincent Parales Age:17 School: Clovis Christian John Parales is the valedictorian at Clovis Christian. Activities he participated in during high school were football, basketball and track. His most memorable moment in high school was the opportunity he had to play in the state
championship football game in 2011.
he could fall asleep instantly.
Parales plans to attend college at Grand Canyon University in the 2015 fall semester. He wants to major in pre-medicine and eventually move on to medical school to pursue his career.
If he could be the best at any one thing, it would be cooking.
He describes a perfect day as a day that he knows he has impacted someone positively in any manner.
If he had an unlimited source of money he would probably spend it on a personal soft-serve machine and a really comfortable bed where
He describes the three additional items he would need if he were stranded on an island with only his clothes as being a solar-powered smartphone with all the apps in existence, a pillow, and a swiss Army knife. Parales would advise underclassmen to enjoy high school while they still have time. He envisions his life in 10 years as being happy, plain and simple.

She would describe her perfect day as sitting by a warm fire with a good book while it is raining.
Macey Moon is a 2015 graduate of House High school. School activities she has participated in were Future Farmers of America, Business Professionals of America, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Students and 4-H.
If she had an unlimited source of money and could spend it however she likes? “If I were to spend this money, or even give it away, it would cause inflation, destroying the economy,” she said.
Her most memorable
But if she could be the best at any one thing, she would choose taking care of other people. “That is one of
the reasons that I want to be a nurse, because I love taking care of people,” she said.
If stranded on an island with only her clothes and three other things, what would she want? “I would bring a boat, food, and someone to help me escape,” she said. The advice she would like to give to underclassmen is to cherish the time they have in high school, because it goes faster than you ever would believe. Moon envisions her life in 10 years as having a bachelor of science degree in nursing and possibly being married with kids.

GRADY SCHOOL - Class of 2015 -
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT
Name: Cala J. Wilson Age: 18 School: Grady Municipal School Cala Wilson is a 2015 graduate of Grady High School. Some activities she participated in were volleyball, community service, National Honor Society, and People to People. Her most memorable moment in high school was her trips during the summer with People to People. “But through the school, would be last year's final district volleyball game. We lost the game and I remember how disappointed everyone was. How quiet the locker room was, but the ride to dinner was pretty amazing. We had all got over the loss and decided to just have fun. We laughed and just had fun as a group as a whole,” she said.
Wilson plans to attend college but is not sure where she will go. “I have been placed on the wait list at the school I wish to go to but I will not hear anything back until the end of the month. Even if I don't get in, I will study education and psychology,” she said. Her perfect day would be at the lake."I would sleep in, then go have a homemade breakfast. I would then go out on the lake to drive the jet skis and fish with my grandpa and dad. After we catch some fish, we would go back to the house where they would gut the fish for dinner. We would have a bit of a fish fry for dinner and then just enjoy a movie together, “she said. If Wilson had an unlimited source of money, how would she spend it? "The first thing I would do is travel. I have always wanted to travel the world but this way I would be able to take my family with me. When I got back from my trip, I would donate money to charities and
small town schools like mine. I would also start my own charity for veterans,” she said. If she could be the best at any one thing, it would be teaching. She has always wanted to help kids be the best they’re able to be. She considers this to be the most rewarding thing. The advice she’d give to underclassmen is to be themselves. “Everyone wants to fit in and be popular. They want everyone to like them but honestly it's not worth it. It takes so much work to put on a different persona when you could easily just be yourself. You are perfectly fine the way you are and you should never forget that," she said. In 10 years Wilson envisions having her bachelor's degree in education and her master's in psychology. She hopes to spend half the day teaching elementary history and the other half being a school guidance counselor.

MELROSE SCHOOL - Class of 2015 -
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT Barnard plans to attend college at West Texas A&M University to study pre-medicine in the pursuit of becoming a doctor.
Name: Caley Maria Barnard Age: 18 School: Melrose High School Caley Barnard is a 2015 graduate of Melrose High School. The activities she participated in were volleyball, basketball, track and field, Future Farmers of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Called 2 Be, choir, and National Honor Society. Her most memorable moment in high school was winning the 2A state basketball championship and being honored 2A player of the year in the 2014-2015 school year. “The memories I made with my teammates that day are ones I will never forget," she said.
She would describe her perfect day as being a warm sunny day that's spent at the lake with all of the people she loves; with nothing to do, no agendas, no expectations and no cell phones. “We could cook out, make some S'mores and have a little unplanned dance. That would be perfect," she said. Barnard said that if she had an unlimited source of money, she would give it to charities to help the organizations that help the less fortunate and make the world a better place. “Materialistic items mean very little to me. I would much rather help those who are in need than become engrossed in the consumer world,” she said. If she could be the best at any one thing, she said it would be the best
at dancing.
If she were stranded on an island with only her clothes and three other items, what would they be? “A Bible, because with God all things are possible; a sword, to protect myself and help make shelter; a huge package of matches, because there is no way I would be able to start a fire without them,” she said. The advice Barnard would like to give underclassmen is not to become consumed with the chaos that goes with high school. "Live each day as if it is your last and trust that God has a plan for each and every one of us," she said. In 10 years she envisions her life as a strong independent woman who has just become a doctor and has joined the Peace Corps in order to volunteer her service to those in need. She envisions that she will have a family who loves and supports her in all of her aspirations.
