There’s a secret ingredient that has helped Temecula Valley become Southern California’s Wine Country and a Wine Enthusiast Top 10 Wine Destination. It’s in the award-winning wine, to be sure, but it’s also found in every corner of this vibrant valley. It’s a spirited kinship borne of gathering, making, and living every drop of life to the fullest. We call it living Glass Full. Full of curiosity, creativity and openness to go all-in when you feel like it. It’s our warm and welcoming invitation to our community and visitors alike to celebrate with us in this moment. An invitation to raise a glass, raise your spirits and be forever together.

From the rolling vineyard hills of wine country to the funky historic vibes of Old Town, around here we savor every last sip of the day. We toast to our barns and barrels, our cabanas and chip stacks, our Syrahs, Saisons and speakeasies, and to sunsets that never stop. We like to let the moment breathe, with delicious pairings of people and passions.

We hang out poolside, greenside, vine side, inside a gourmet chef’s imagination and outside our comfort zones, opening the good stuff… and our hearts. And we always come away with a story the selfie just can’t tell. We celebrate the community of mavericks and free spirits of this valley who grow it, make it, and uncork it for us all. May they keep breaking the rules and blowing our minds.

Temecula is a spirited place, full of spirited people, where our togetherness truly sets us apart. From the moment you arrive, you’ll taste it, feel it, and deeply savor it. Here’s to the valley, to the vine, to us all. To living life, glass full.

To opening the good stuff

Named a “Top 10 Wine Travel Destination” by Wine Enthusiast, Temecula Valley is an award-winning, globally recognized wine region, distinct from any other in California. It’s a breathtakingly picturesque American Viticultural Area (AVA) with rolling, Tuscan-like hills and a climate that is often compared to the Mediterranean. Wine lovers can plan an entire vacation around nearly 50 wineries, each with unique amenities and experiences like live entertainment, gourmet dining and resort style accommodations.

Redefining Winemaking in a Storied Region

Uys Wines is one of the only wineries in Temecula Valley producing natural wines. All wines are made using minimal intervention techniques and no additives are added in the vineyard or cellar. “Our goal is to pursue the soul of wine and have each bottle reflect the Temecula terroir,” says owner and winemaker Dirk Uys.

Wilson Creek Winery is deeply committed to regenerative agriculture, ensuring that their vineyards not only thrive but also contribute positively to the environment. They are experimenting with non-saccharomyces yeasts to improve the efficiency and quality of their winemaking.

Europa Village cultivates and produces lesser-known varietals. Winemaker Blake Miller’s unique practices involves aging wine in a 1000-gallon concrete super egg. He also explores lower intervention winemaking that echoes old-world techniques, but with a modern twist using state-of-the-art equipment.

Winemakers Jon McPherson and Javier Flores have made significant strides in the production of sparkling wines. At South Coast Winery, McPherson and Flores utilize the Charmat Method to create an exquisite selection. Their innovative techniques and impressive range of sparklings are setting new standards. At Carter Estate Winery, they employ the traditional Methode Champenoise. This technique is also used by Thornton Winery.

Winemaker, Rick Buffington, at Cougar Vineyard & Winery is producing wines that he helped get recognized in the U.S. by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. They believe they are the only producers of Ciliegiolo, Lambrusca and Brachetto in the United States.  Also, Cougar is the only winery producing Falanghina in Temecula Valley.

Mount Palomar Winery has a rich tradition that began with the blending and aging of Sherry in our outdoor Solera. Their Sherry is aged in a traditional outdoor Solera for five years until it is bottled. Their Solera has been in continuous operation since 1974, using estate grown Palomino and Pedro Ximenez grapes.

Wine Country

Driven by a maverick and highly skilled winemaker community, and nurtured by cool misty mornings, warm dry afternoons and chilly nights, Temecula grows and produces more than two dozen Italian, Spanish and French grape varietals. Uncommon, and uncommonly delicious Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Tempranillo and Vermentino grapes thrive here, along with well-known classics like Syrah, Viognier, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

Many Temecula Valley wineries are family-run, artisan style operations, and it’s not uncommon to meet and share a moment with the winemakers or owners when visiting tasting rooms. These craft wineries tend to produce a limited number of cases of each vintage, which means they prioritize selling directly to visitors at the wineries. Visitors often join one of their wine clubs, a great way to stay connected and get access to exclusive releases, events and other perks, turning love at first sip into a lifelong passion!

To the pursuit of hoppyness

Winemakers like to joke that it takes a lot of great beer to make good wine, so it’s only natural that Temecula Valley’s beer scene is booming, too. Our dynamic and tight-knit craft brewing community has become a rising star of the beer world, with local breweries making their mark in prestigious national competitions and being featured on carefully curated beer lists everywhere.

Are you thirsty?

Relentless Brewing Co. in Temecula crafts bold, innovative beers in a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere. Specializing in small-batch brews, we offer rotating flavors, blending passion, quality, and experimentation to create unforgettable experiences for every craft beer lover.

Solaris Beer & Blending is a brewery and winery offering a dynamic taproom experience. Enjoy a wide selection lagers, IPAs, fruited sours, seltzers, and wine. Rotating food vendors every day. Live music and engaging events make Solaris a lively destination for craft beer and wine enthusiasts.

Craft Beer, Fresh Flavors, Scenic Views OBC is a Temecula-based, family-owned brewery and restaurant offering craft beer, inventive cocktails, and seasonal dishes. Located by the Duck Pond, OBC creates a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere perfect for gathering and dining.

8 Bit Brewing is a

pong. Enjoy pub grub like burgers and tater tots,

Of course, you don’t have to be a hop head to appreciate the depth and breadth of high-quality beer being hand-crafted and poured all along the Temecula Valley Ale Trail. On any given sunny Temecula afternoon one can sample fresh local IPAs, stouts, lagers, pilsners, sours, whits, hefes and limited seasonal releases at brewery-based tasting rooms, where you might even have an opportunity to meet the brew master.

And the beer is just the beginning. Most Temecula breweries are here for your beer munchies, offering pop-up food trucks or even full-menu restaurants.

Top that off with live music, trivia nights, pub games and informative guided tours of the beer making process and wine country starts to look an awful lot like beer country. Valley tour operators offer guided brewery tours with transportation and tastings included.

For the ultimate beer experience, visit during Temecula Valley Craft Beer Month in May when the spotlight shines on our brewing mavericks and visitors can earn points for prizes through our digital pass. Cheers to that!

To big-time, small town vibes

shop, dine & play in old town

With roots in California’s storied ranching and stagecoach history, Temecula exudes an authentic small-town vibe. The historical heart of the Valley, Old Town oozes quaint and nostalgic charm and genuine country western character.

When the railroad came to Temecula in 1882, the station was built here, establishing the area as the town center. The first paved twolane road, the Inland Highway, followed in 1915. Today, more than a dozen historical properties, dating as far back as the late 1880s, have been repurposed and reopened in Old Town.

munity Theater. Families can explore history at the Temecula Valley Museum, take in a festival or seasonal event, and meet local makers and artisans at Saturday’s farmers’ market.

Enjoy the vintage & industrial feel of 1909

Located in the heart of Old Town Temecula, 1909 is a vibrant gastropub known for its lively atmosphere, unique history, and exceptional food and drinks. Housed in the historic Machado building, which once served as a trading post, livery, auto shop, and bar (notably the Longbranch Saloon in the 1970s), 1909 retains its colorful past with locals sharing stories of brawls and bullet holes in the ceiling.

Outdoor Recreation

Here’s to going all-in on the outdoors

Temecula Valley uncorks the quintessential Southern California outdoors lifestyle in a year-round, near perfect Mediterranean climate. Sunrises alight with rainbow-hued hot air balloons floating into the golden sky, sunsets glow as horseback riders roam romantic vineyard pathways. Exploring and indulging in the great outdoors in Temecula is almost as

essential as tasting the wine. It’s bike heaven with world class mountain biking, road cycling and e-biking through the vines and beyond. Hiking trails wind through the 9,000-acre Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve, along the shores of Vail Lake, and around Lake Skinner, where you can cast a line for a trophy largemouth bass.

Golfers-in-the-know celebrate the richness of the game at three excellent courses open to the public. These inspiring course designs embrace the surrounding mature oak trees, as well as natural streams and creeks. All three locations are popular with golfers of all skill levels for perfectly challenging, yearround play.

They say the journey is better than the destination. When you play Journey at Pechanga, the par-72 course designed by Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest, we think you’ll agree. Rated the top course in California, Journey combines breathtaking views with a playable, picturesque course you’ll want to experience again and again.

Built into the hillsides surrounding Pechanga Resort Casino, the course features creative and challenging holes. With comfortable golf carts, a 9th hole snack bar, and amenities, you’re going to enjoy this 18-hole trip.

Journey is also one of the most ecologically and culturally sensitive courses in the country. Guests will see replica ‘kiicha’ or houses. Guests encounter artifacts and historical markers giving them a clear sense of the land on which they play.

After your round, recount your best shots over a tasty breakfast, lunch or a refreshing drink at the acclaimed Journey’s End restaurant. Indoor and outdoor dining, as well as an inviting bar and fire pits, allow for taking in the sights while enjoying hearty or light meals, and your favorite beverage. Regional polls consistently vote Journey’s End the best brunch spot in the Inland Empire.

Inside the upscale Journey clubhouse, the 2,800 square foot pro shop lets you find just the right hat, club, shirt, golf tech equipment or other course keepsake.

Journey at Pechanga golf course in Temecula takes you on a golf experience like no other. Championship golf for every level of player.

Paramotor Discovery Flights

Experience what it must feel like to be a bird on a low and slow open cockpit Powered Parachute discovery flight. There is nothing quite like cruising at 30mph just above the ground while exploring the terrain and scenery of Temecula Wine Country and Lake Skinner. You will smell the various orchard blooms as you float over them, while looking for commonly sighted deer, hawks and coyotes. Getting up close with the iconic hot air balloons is a highlight of the flight. Your FAA Certified Flight Instructor will show you why flying a powered parachute is the easiest form of flying there is (and arguably the most fun) and let you take the controls if you like.

Just because our Powered Parachute is so simple doesn’t mean that it isn’t as legitimate an aircraft as what you’d normally see in the sky. It has an FAA Airworthiness Certificate and “N” number just like any other aircraft, giving it many of the same privileges as well as requiring adherence to strict FAA maintenance criteria. We only fly the most deluxe and powerful model on the market, giving our customers the ultimate experience.

If you decide after landing that you’d like to continue the adventure of Powered Parachute / Paramotor flying, you will be pleasantly surprised to find out that it is the least expensive form of aviation there is. For pilots that only plan on flying by themselves, the training is as little as 3 days. We love bringing new members into our exclusive club!
