Porto is a city for talent. Being aware of the importance of talent in today’s economy, the Porto City Council, through InvestPorto, has developed a strategy for attracting and retaining international talent to the city and creating the conditions for them to find suitable career opportunities in Porto and start a new life. As part of this strategy, the Portofortalent platform (www.portofortalent.com) was launched in order to promote Porto as the ideal place for people to work and live and attract talent. Besides job postings, the site also provides information for soft landing in three areas - “Land”, “Live” and “Work”. More initiatives will be developed in the future, involving relevant public and private stakeholders, to make Porto a global talent hub where international expats feel at home.
