of the web  Now they are just starting to see the power of Mobile  Why not leverage the lessons learned on web for mobile?  Why not integrate them so admins do not have twice the content to keep track of

10 years ago  Joomla CMS provided great solutions  Content Management  Extensible functionality – open source


Connectivity to existing Joomla Sites Goals:  No mods to Joomla core  Use Joomla at base, all other content is imported into Joomla (RSS feeds)  Mapping functions to identify content for app  Import functions to bring in new content


Interface  All content uses Articles and

Categories ONLY  Article and Category ordering is honored on app  App update protocol based on edit dates  Used Cat. images from Joomla  Delete, Published and Trash supported


Expandable  Import content from RSS feeds  Import content from other sites  Component data webservice  Extensions already
