When your violins speaks

When your violin speaks as your voice.

Do you know what a Rock and Roll Violinist is? Well, if you don’t you are missing out. The center of your world, comes crashing down because you have missed out on this artform. Someone awakens you from a deep sleep, because you have been listening to one genre all of your life. Yes, you have heard the fiddle played before. You have heard the violin in different settings. Have you had thoughts that the violin just doesn’t do it for you? Not because the performer isn’t talented, you just want something that allows you to jam. Like a fine wine, or smooth whisky. You have a specific palette, and if your taste isn’t met than it’s time to move on.

“Fine wine, and smooth whiskey. I have specific tastes, and there just isn’t room for

anything else”. Well, that is what I use to think. That is until I met Emily V. I believe, my world was rocked when I heard Emily V play the violin. I watched a video of her on You Tube. She made a statement, that I often refer too. She said “her violin is her voice”. Indeed, her means of communication are impeccable. Does she really need to say more, when she performs like she does? The only thing left is interpretation of its language.
