Introduction CNBAM This guide has been assembled by the CNBAM Vice President of Membership for the benefit of member schools. Its purpose is to serve as a guide and resource for your newspaper to achieve the CNBAM goals of providing learning and development opportunities for students at colleges and universities nationwide. We strive for the highest standards in training and developing students in preparation for post-graduate careers in advertising. The materials for this guide were collected from member schools, news sources, and newspaper industry resources. As a member of CNBAM you may copy this guide to use for training your staff. However, please copy it in its original form, rather than reformatting it under your logo, as some of this material is copyrighted. I have attempted to include updated material on as many relevant subjects as possible, but, in putting together this guide, I am reminded that there are as many ways to do things as there are college newspapers. Hopefully, these are some of the best, and you will be able to learn from another’s perspective.
