Nightmare on Independence Nightmare on Independence is back with a garenteed fright for viewers. The attraction features two haunted houses, the Mystery Mansion and the Dungeon of Doom. Ghouls jump out oat you, monsters come through the walls to grab you. Nobody will make it though the house without screaming
in teror. Admissions is $15 from both attractions. For children under 10, admission is 0nly $10. Nightmare will be open Oct. 25 - 31. Hours vary from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., dependingon the day. For a complete schedule, directions or coupons vist http:// www.charlottehaunts.com.
The Campground Massacre Take a peek into the hallow halls of the haunted mansion of Mina and camp around her house. Beware of the woods all around you, as you are taken deeper into the tale of MIna and her unfortunate family. Admission is $19 per ticket. The Campground Massacre will be open Oct.

Haunted House and Trail Chi Phi and ADPi are giving students a night to remebers as they present the Haunted House and Trail. Admission is $3 per person and all proceeds go to
the American Red Cross. The atraction will be open Oct. 26 - 28 from 8 11 p.m. hosted in the Chi Phi house on the corner or John Kerk and Mallard Creek rd.
Halloween Dance Social S.A.F.E would like to welcome everyone to atend its first annual Halloween Dance Social on Oct. 28 in the Lucuas Room. Admission to the party is free for students and $2 for others. DJ Spoonz will be mixing it up all night long . Costumes are a must have for admittance. Gravedigger’s Ball ‘06 Kiss 95.1 presents the annual Gravedigger’s Ball to Charlotte. This year’s entertanment will include Bret Michaels of Poison, Charlity Case and No1Uno. The Ball will be held in the Dixie’s parking lot on Saturday Oct. 28. Tickets are $12 each and can be ordered over the phone or online. Numerous prizes will be given out over the course of the evening, including $1000 to the winner of the best costume contest. Charity Costume Ball In honor of the final day for Brest Cancer Awareness Month, F.A.M.E. is holding a charity halloween costume ball in the Lucas Room on Oct. 31. All money raised will go to the Susan G. Komen Brest Cancer Foundation in Charlotte. Admission for the Ball is $5 per person. People wearing costumes will be admitted for $2. Haunted Village Come enjoy a bone chilling evening of frights and fun. The Hunt Village on campus will be host to a spooky walk though on Halloween night, Oct. 31. Admission is free for ev-
eryone. Haunt Village will begin at 7:30 and end at 10:30. all ages are invited. For more information, contact Eboni Churchill at (704) 656-1602.
Lucky year 13 has rolled around for CarnEvil, and this year’s party on Oct. 28 is going to put all the others to shame. There will be 27 live bands, 19 DJs, and one dead clown performing. Side acts will include bellydanceing, fire preformers and a drum circle. This year’s event will be held at 1111 Hawthorne ln, and the party starts at 8 p.m. Tickets purchased in advance are a $25 donation. Tickets bought at the door will be $40 cash. Tickets cover all food, entertainment and refreshments. This party is strickly for 21 and older only. Donations will be used to benifit Regional AIDS Interfaith Network. Party at Billy’s Boardwalk Billy’s will be having its Halloween party on Oct. 31. Drink specials will be $1.50 domestic and microbrew drafts and $2.00 Miller Lite bottles. Heredity will be preforming live thorughout the evening. admission is free, but you must be 21 to party. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the costume contests in these categories: scariest, sexiest, best group and best overall.
