CNI: Vision, Mission and Strategies Vision To play a lead role in making the country's industrial sectors vibrant, resilient as well as globally competitive, and promoting the investment friendly environment for achieving a sustainable development and double digit economic growth.
Mission The primary working area of CNI includes encouraging positive competition and competent management among the industries, promoting domestic and foreign investment, and creating employment opportunities in the country’s industrial and corporate sectors.
Strategies To accomplish the above mission and move ahead towards the set vision, CNI has been adopting the following strategies: Strengthen the efficiency of the Nepalese private sector at par with the international level and to be recognized as the leader in providing value-added business support services and trade facilitation for competitiveness and quality enhancement. Act as a ‘Think Tank’ for the management and development of Nepal’s industrial sector and to be recognized as the key catalyst in mobilizing the value of the private sector. Take appropriate actions to achieve the nation’s social aims by ensuring professionalism, social accountability, business integrity and high standards of quality of goods and services. Play an instrumental role to create a conducive environment for investment in the country’s industrial sectors and provide necessary inputs as well as services for the establishment and development of supportive institutions. Provide crucial recommendations and facilitate different government bodies as well as agencies on issues related to industrial promotion, economic policy formulation and investment facilitation along with the improvements required on the same as per the requirement. Develop a team of professionals at CNI with competencies and commitment for promoting national economy as well as member’s business interests and formulate necessary rules and regulations, within the framework of the CNI constitution, to regulate the activities of the Confederation.
