Here are some suggestions for taking advantage of the warmer weather and many summer activities offered in Central New York:

Summer specials at Foxfire Golf Course

Head Golf Pro Chris Lawson is shown here with one of the new golf carts purchased by owner Jim Noble this season. Noble plans to replace 10 to 15 cars per year, ensuring great carts for his customers. Foxfire’s summer specials are now in effect. A senior special for golfers 55 years and older features 18 holes and a cart for only $20, good 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday. With rides, food, concerts, exhibits and vendors, the Fair has it all! For many, this is an end-of-the-summer tradition that can’t be beat. Set for Aug. 27 through Sept. 7 at the fairgrounds, 581 State Fair Blvd. Syracuse.

29. Go for a run

An early-morning jaunt through the neighborhood or stress-relieving sprint after work may be just the thing you need to get the heart pumping and clear the cobwebs out of the mind.

Get rid of your clutter while meeting your neighbors and making some mad money.
