Get Out & Drive ........

Thank you for your patience on awaiting our monthly publication. It has been a difficult time for my family and myself as I deal with the cancer I just found out I have. The doctors are optimistic as I go through the treatment process. My priority is focused on my health right now so our publication will be coming out a little slower for the next 3-6 months. My son, Chris, a graphic designer is fortunately able to help. We are also fortunate to have board members that can keep you updated on what is coming up and changing through our great online communication system. This is a busy year for us regionally along with the national PCA group. Hopefully I will be able to see you out there at some of our events.

One of the few fun things I have started to do, despite my illness is get out and drive my Porsche to the many relatively known and unknown historic buildings and sites on the Central

Coast. The first one I did was the Old Cuesta Hanger Building at Cuesta College. Some will be known to you but many are off the “beaten” path like a few of the old buildings at Cuesta and Cal Poly. I am trying to do one a month, we will see if I can keep up with that.

At the last minute I added TransformersRise of the Beasts story since it uses a Porsche as a main character on page 19.

I hope many of you will be going to the 2023 Porsche Parade this year.

We will see all of you out there in the “sunshine” as we “Get Out and Drive!”
