Mapping out your ‘toy’ plan for the holidays
By Darin J. McCann Executive EditorWant to hear a secret? Lean in. I don’t want everybody to hear it.
e holidays are about warmth. And family. And doing kind things for one another. And celebrating our spirituality and faith in whatever form that might take. All of these things are true. But make no mistake about it — for a large percentage of our population, it’s about toys.
Lots and lots of toys.
Or comic books. Or cellphones or tablets or rabid sharks equipped with laser beams… or whatever “toy” is the “toy of choice” for the enthusiast in your life. ere are nearly 8 billion people on this planet, and each of them likes what they like. Fortunately for you, there are plenty of options to go find that gift right here at home.
You know that whole “Shop Local” thing? Well, here’s your chance. We have more options than you might be thinking.
