West Coast Culinary Diploma Fall 2023 | Terrace, British Columbia Prepare for a career as a Chef! Industry experts from Coast Mountain College host you in our modern and high-tech campus kitchens to teach you how to become a Red Seal Chef of the West Coast. Understand our local food, how we source, harvest and process food in the rainforests of British Columbia where you train in our kitchens and on the land. Our Indigenous cultures and elders hold extensive knowledge and you will learn from them in our program.

Your future as a chef There are many exciting and challenging opportunities as a Chef. You could work in fine dining restaurants, in remote mountain work camps or own a food truck.

Co-op work placement This diploma has an essential co-op work placement that students must complete in order to graduate. The co-op placement (work internship) means that students can earn a wage while working outside the classroom in order to meet the graduation requirements of the program.
