On peak days, shift or lower your energy use from 2-7 p.m. to beat the peak, and not your pockets.

Peak hours only occur on days when we expect high demand on the system.

LIGHT YOUR JULY SAFELY In July alone, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates more than 7,000 people go to the emergency room for firework-related injuries. Light up your July safely with these tips: 1. Steer clear of overhead power lines. Lines are energized and not insulated.

2. If your fireworks get tangled in a power line, do not try

to remove them yourself.

3. Never allow young children to play with or ignite fire

4. Sparklers burn at temperatures of about 2,000 degrees.
