Features > Body Wafer, lug or flange style monobloc body has been designed in order to ensure maximum security and reliability (proven by Finite Elements). It has extended valve neck enabling piping isolation. Wafer style body has in its external diameter a shaped ring that eases alve installation and centralization in the pipe flanges. *Special series made on or after DN 6” > Disc Disc has been designed to minimise pressure drop in totally open position. Sealing area is polished in the entire perimeter providing total sealing in relation to the seat and ensuring low operating torque. > Shaft

> Shaft sealing Sealing is made by gaskets with packing gland mounted in an inverted position, allowing easy adjustment and uniform compression of the gaskets without interfering with actuator mounting directly in the top’s flange. Standard gaskets facilitate their interchangeability.

Shaft to disc connection made through stainless steel ASTM A564 condition H1075 (17-4PH) taper pins with conicity of 1:50 with screws and pressure washers at one end to ensure a perfect mounting.

Replaceable seat covers completely the body and consists of a rigid ring, on which the elastomer seat material is vulcanized preventing deformation, reducing actuation torque and increasing seat service life.

Butterfly Valve VF Series Double Eccentric Valve
VF Series valve design is based upon the double eccentric concept which minimises the contact between disc seal and body seal and thereby enhances the valve performance, reduces maintenance and extends the valve service life.

Features > Body The body is made with the purpose of providing the ultimate in rigidity and leak free performance. The conical seat, welded, bolted or integral to the body retains a sealing surface completely free of interruptions and assures a minimum reduction of the inside port diameter as well as providing the maximum flow capacity. The body internal surface can be rubber vulcanized or epoxy lined. > Body sealing
- Welded to the body, for bodies in carbon steel; - Fully vulcanized, for bodies in ductile iron or cast / fabricated carbon steel. - Integral replaceable seat options are also available. > Seal ring The heavy “T” section seal ring is designed to eliminate the potential extrusion divided at high flow velocity. As a result of this design, the valve is capable of providing a full tight sealing at pressures up to 25 bar.
