Extremely positive results at the end of the Viennese event, during which the outcome of the joint efforts with Acma, a company of the Coesia Group, were previewed. Over the three-day event, the stand set-up by Tecnomeccanica welcomed 40% more visitors than those registered in 2010, thanks also to the interest aroused by the new package produced by machine model T4 Modula.

Joint efforts between Acma and Tecnomeccanica were expressed successfully during the Viennese event. Just over a year from its acquisition, the company from Villanova di Castenaso participated in the Tea&Coffee trade fair with a wide array of solutions for the tea and coffee packaging industry, which were greatly admired by visitors. The joint-venture between the two companies, which commenced at the beginning of 2011, has boosted the spectrum of Tecnomeccanica in terms of technology, thanks to the competencies developed by the engineering department of Acma.

The "poker" of tea packaging solutions presented at Vienna contemplated different types of single or double chamber bags for granular or full leaf products. The top attraction on display was the new package produced by machine model T4 Modula. This 100% Made-in-Bologna machine will indeed be able to produce the "perfect package" for tea at an accessible price and guaranteeing top performance. T4 will produce double chamber bags, which are those that the market appreciates mostly and which will have a hard tag and will be sealed without using adhesive or metal. The machine will indeed be able to perform a particularly sophisticated type of closure, using a biodegradable string, knotted to the tag at one end and sealing the bag at the other.

A teasing campaign was carried out during the three days of the trade fair, in which a full-size mock-up of the T4 was created to illustrate the machine's working cycle. A video was set-up to show visitors how some of the components work, amongst which was the heart of the primary packaging system, in addition to the machine's modular construction, efficient technical design and flexibility, which will indeed make it perfect to satisfy different requirements.

By exchanging their technical and commercial expertise, Acma and Volpak (another member of the Coesia Group) were able to offer a particularly wide array of solutions at the Tea&Coffee exhibition. A number of ideas for packaging tea and coffee were exhibited, for packaging instant or loose tea and coffee, in flexible pouches or in the stand-up "doypack" version. The offer was completed by end-of-line solutions for packaging bags, pods and single packages in trays.

ACMA and VOLPAK are members of Coesia group. The Group consists of 13 leading companies operating in the areas of automatic packaging machines, quality control, printing systems and precision gears. The consolidated turnover of Coesia group is nearly 900 hundreds million euro, with 3900 employees and many facilities operating worldwide.
