Advisory is a place where students become connected - engaged in their school, feel a sense of belonging, develop a nurturing relationship. Advisory sessions cover topics relevant to the students’ wellbeing and safety. All students meet in advisory each morning and once a week for extended sessions.

MINDFULNESS Each day students and faculty participate in ten minutes of Mindfulness during Advisory. Through Mindfulness, the community focuses on an awareness of the present moment, recognizing our feelings, thoughts and sensations. As a result, we hope to achieve better balance in our lives and greater understanding of our thoughts and feelings and concerns for others. POSITIVE EDUCATION Positive education focuses on the overall well-being of our community. With an emphasis on Positive Education, we teach students and faculty and parents how to build positive relationships, and to seek out the good in one another.
