Key Leader is a weekend leadership retreat program sponsored by Kiwanis, dedicated to teaching the values of service leadership while providing life-changing experiences and connecting leaders to forge lifetime friendships. Key Leaders emerging from the program will have learned the values of personal integrity, personal growth, respect, building community, and the pursuit of excellence. Key Leader is open to all High School students, Key Clubbers and non-Key Clubbers alike. Students who have previously attended Key Leader may apply to become a Student Facilitator. Service Hour Goals: 10,000 hours Collection Goals: 56,000 pounds (5 for the five food banks, 6 for the six locations)

Monetary Goal: $60,000 ($10,000 for each location)

Apply Now THE YOF IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THE WORLD AROUND YOU, BY GETTING FUNDS YOU NEED TO IMPLEMENT YOUR SERVICE PROJECT. IN THE APPLICATION, WHICH CAN BE FOUND ONLINE, BE SURE TO CLEARLY DESCRIBE THE PROJECT, RATIONALE, TIMELINE, AND BUDGET, ALONG WITH PROVIDING THE NECESSARY SIGNATURES. BEFORE SUBMITTING, BE SURE TO ALSO CHECK THAT THE NUMBERS ADD UP, THE FORMATTING IS NEAT AND ORGANIZED, AND THAT THE IMPACT IS MENTIONED. SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION BY OCTOBER 15 AT 11:59 P.M EST (NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED) FOR THE CHANCE TO CHANGE THE WORLD TODAY.

NEW JERSEY KEY CLUB INTERNATIONAL IN THE PAST, DUES WERE $12.50, WITH $7.00 GOING TO INTERNATIONAL, AND $5.50 GOING TO THE DISTRICT. OF THAT $5.50, 50 CENTS WENT TOWARDS DCON. NOW HOWEVER, WITH EXPENSES GOING UP, IT WAS DECIDED AT HOUSE OF DELEGATES DURING DCON THAT THE DISTRICT WILL CHARGE $6.50 , WITH $1.50 GOING TOWARDS DCON. SO THE MINIMUM CHARGE FOR DUES IS $13.50 BUT IF CLUBS WANT TO NURTURE THEIR TREASURY AND CHARGE MORE THE MOST THEY CAN CHARGE IS $18.50.
