Eddleston Water Project
February 21st 2022
A slightly different collection today. It does include some shots of the Tweed and the Eddleston Water taken on Sunday, when both rivers did reach very high levels, and indeed SEPA issued a flood alert for Peebles. I was able to join Andrew on Sunday afternoon taking some measurements in the town centre (March Street) and that was interesting. But today, Monday, was a day with such beautiful light, only occasionally interspersed with rain and a little snow, that it was one for enjoying the wider benefits of the Eddleston Water project; not just those of flood control. It was a day for recording and appreciating some of the relatively new habitats and environments that have been created in the catchment, and a day for enjoying some photography, both with the drone and taking time with the Nikon on a tripod.
