HISTORIC BUILDINGS
HISTORIC BUILDINGS I have been visiting and photographing historic buildings since my teens. My first degree was in Architectural History and I have maintained my interest throughout my career, most recently as Head of the Heritage Lottery Fund in Scotland. Now that I am practicing full time as a photographer, historic buildings continue to form a main stream of work. The examples here include favourite buildings across the UK and in Europe. For architectural work, I shoot on a tripod-mounted Nikon full-frame DSLR, using whatever lens suits the situation. The RAW image files are edited on a colour-calibrated iMac and output in a format to suit clients’ requirements. This collection is a sample. If you would like to discuss how my photography might assist your business, do please get in touch.
