HOM E S 1 9 52- 70 The architectural practice started by James Morris and Robert Steedman in 1957 soon developed a reputation for its individual private houses that reached beyond Scotland. These photographs of six of the houses were comissoned by the current Directors of Morris & Steedman Associates for the HOME exhibition in the Royal Scottish Academy in 2016. Without the co-operation of the owners of these houses, this would not have been possible, and our gratitude to them is acknowledged here. The six houses are: The Wilson House, Lasswade (1958) The Hunt/Steedman Houses, Edinburgh (1961-64) The Prinicpal’s House, Stirling University (1966-67) The Leather House, Perth (1964 & 1976) The Sillitto House, Edinburgh (1962) The Nichol House, Gullane (1964)
