Foreword This publication is intended as no more than a photographic introduction to Peter Womersley’s buildings in Scotland. Interest in his work has grown in recent years and events during the 2016 Festival of Architecture will undoubtedly raise his profile further. Womersley enjoyed considerable well deserved acclaim outside Scotland during his lifetime; let’s hope that 2016 brings a resurgence.
