I hope everyone has had time to adjust to their new schedules and the “newer” block schedule, because it is time for the best Key Club year Division 9 has seen in a while. All clubs need to push to get as many members as possible, Key Club International has just recently hit 250,000 members in April and WE ARE GOING FOR 275,000 MEMBERS!!!! So let’s do it. Please let new members know that Key Club is not a “college resume” club, we are a family (here at home, and all over the world) and we are the largest high school student led service organization in the world. That is something to be proud to be a part of, so please do not just dismiss it as some club. To recruit new members, hold a informational meeting about what Key Club is about; tell them who we are and what we do. Then follow up with a way of testing the members on the information you gave from the meeting. From there with the members that applied, check that their grades and discipline record is in the guidelines your individual club has put in place. Hopefully this will pull in valuable and consistent members into your club. MONTHLY REPORTS. Your monthly reports should either be emailed or mailed to me before the 5 th of every month. Your monthly report shows me what is going on with club involvement and what kind of service the clubs are doing; so they are very, very important.

Divisional Rally Preview **Divisional Rally will be on November 12, 2011 at 10:00p – 2:00p for club members; and will go until 3:00p for officers. Breakfast should be eaten at home, while lunch will be provided. ** CONTESTS:

Many of the current and past LTGs along with the current and past Governor will be attending the rally. SPIRIT IS KEY! We want everyone in LaMissTenn to know that the spirit we have at football games is the spirit we have about Key Club. The most spirited club will be recognized. At Rally, I want if not all of the members there, at least 80-90% of them. There will be a $5 fee for each member. This will pay for decorations, food, and awards. ***Registration packets will come before the end of September. ***

REMINDERS MONTHLY REPORTS ARE ALWAYS DUE ON THE 5TH OF CONVENTION EVERY MONTH. MEANING I SHOULD RECEIVE THEM NO LATER THAN THE 5TH.
$ It is $13.00 total: - $6.50 for International - $6.50 for District $ This must be paid by EACH MEMBER in the club. $ Dues should be sent by November 1st (Early Bird) or by December 1st. (Delinquent). $ Mail to ONLY Key Club International Office: Key Club International 3636 Woodview Trace Indianapolis, IN, 46268 USA $ A club will not be recognized by Key Club International if it has not paid its dues. $ This year we want ALL active clubs in our district! $ Our active clubs are the reason we are one of the largest and the strongest districts! **Clubs submitting properly completed invoice and membership roster forms and appropriate membership fees on or before November 1st , will also receive an "Early Bird" patch for the Key Club's banner.**

Dues are paid by every club in the world to International. Dues are collected to keep our District and International up and running. Your dues ($13.00) go to: o District Convention o Key Club Magazine o International Convention o Club mailings o MEP/Service Opportunities o YOF Grant/Membership Scholarships o Awards and Recognition Etc... Turn those dues in ASAP!

To further unite us, I have created a shirt that all members, advisors, and sponsors are able to purchase before Sept. 30. They will be 15 dollars a piece and I must have at least 50 shirt orders, but I hope to get as many as possible.
