Goldfish Snacks Are An Even Bigger Catch Do your kids get extra hungry in the summer? Katarina seems to go through more snacks when the heat hits. (Let’s be honest, so do I.) Pepperidge Farm snacks are always a hit with my family. Those little bags of Goldfish get eaten pretty quickly. Katarina thought it would be a great idea to use the Goldfish Puffs in place of croutons on our post-swim salad. They gave the salad a great crunch and a kick of flavor. We were both impressed. Turning your snack food into a component for an early dinner is the foods equivalent to taking your favorite dress from day to evening wear.

Summer Solstice Party With Goldfish Puffs!
When my girls were younger, I found a recipe for a pool cake in Family Fun Magazine. I still have the page I ripped out and saved! So, I thought I would make a fishing cake instead, using Goldfish Puffs as the fish! How fun is that? Place the bears with their lifesaver vest right in the lake. Position two or three of the bears on the side of the “lake” fishing. To do this, use thread to tie a Goldfish Puff to a pretzel stick, and place the pretzel stick near the bear hanging over the “lake.”

Goldfish Snacks Are An Even Bigger Catch Do your kids get extra hungry in the summer? Katarina seems to go through more snacks when the heat hits. (Let’s be honest, so do I.) When Katarina and I aren’t hard at work on research papers and math, we spend a lot of our summer hours at the pool. We took our newfound Goldfish Puffs with us this weekend, because poolside snacks are a necessity. Katarina thought it would be a great idea to use the Goldfish Puffs in place of croutons on our post-swim salad. They gave the salad a great crunch and a kick of flavor. We were both

Teen Snack Success – Goldfish Puffs I have a thing for never leaving things well enough alone. Sometimes that’s a good thing. I found a few simple ways to encourage my teen to eat his fruits and veggies. This is an easy to make and delicious to eat mid-morning or afternoon snack. I took an apple, sliced it up, covered one side with natural peanut butter and topped it off with a Goldfish Puff. Next up in my teen snack experiment was a salad. I made a regular salad but instead of topping it with croutons and cheese, Goldfish Puffs were the topper of choice. The only problem, I didn’t add enough Puffs per my teen….with the addition of some more the salad was a hit!

Pool Party Treats With Goldfish Puffs Snacks, Snacks, Snacks ~ it seems so easy when they’re little. You buy something cute and tasty and they love it, but as they get older, well, tasty still cuts it but cute has become a thing of the past. Up until just recently I could get the same snacks for my two younger boys but now that we are in the teen years, that’s just not working….until I found Goldfish Puffs at Target. Each summer the twins attend a swim program. The sessions run four mornings a week for two weeks. At the end of the two-week period, the instructors host a little party at the swimming pool where the kids are presented with their certificate of completion and parents contribute a potluck snack or drinks.

Poolside Puffs Munch Mix The boys loved regular Goldfish crackers when they were younger so they were really excited to try the Puffs – they are bigger and more like chips. These would be “cool enough” to send in their lunches or for an after school snack! We grabbed two yummy flavors – Mega Cheese and Buffalo Wing – and some other ingredients to make two different tasty versions of Poolside Puff Munch Mix with Goldfish Puffs!! We mixed up two versions of our poolside munch mix – one that was mega cheese goodness and a second mix with a little spicy kick – even the adults loved this crunchy little mix!

Extra Cheesy Tomato Soup
This past week I headed to Target to find some new teen snacks for my older kiddos. I ended up making this extra cheesy tomato soup with Goldfish Puffs for them. Yum! My kiddos love to eat tomato soup, and I love that they are eating a vegetable! So anytime they want tomato soup for a snack I’m all for that! ;) We decided to take it up a notch & make some extra cheesy tomato soup. :)

Goldfish Puffs Snack Mix For Our On-The-Go Lifestyle I wanted to “spice” up the Goldfish Puffs a bit. Snack mixes are great for on the go because they offer a variety of textures and flavors and they just seem more satisfying. I grabbed a recipe from one of my favorite foodie friends and headed to Target to pick up the ingredients to make this for our next day at the pool. The Goldfish Puffs were the star of the show. These new baked snack crackers are much larger than the typical Goldfish we’ve all grown to love over the years. The bold flavor of the Buffalo Wing Puffs gave another layer of flavor to this tasty snack mix and their larger size made the snack more appealing to adults and older children as well. This was a healthier alternative for snacking our day away at the pool. I love that the Goldfish are baked and don’t have all of those nasty fats, sugars, and *shudder* grease of most typical on the go snacks.

Finding Tween Sized Snacks I remember the moment vividly. I had waited for what seemed like forever. And finally, at about 18 months, J-Man was old enough to have one of my all time favorite snacks – goldfish. From that very first bite he was hooked and for the next 6 years, Goldfish snacks were his munchie of choice. As I sat and watched my not so little boy inhale his favorite snack the way he used to as a toddler, I couldn’t help but get a little teary eyed. Because it was like watching him rediscover a long lost friend that had been cast aside by the years. And I knew instantly that he was once again a goldfish loving kid. Only this time the goldfish were bigger, the taste was bolder and the portions were larger – the perfect combination for a growing tween!

Goldfish Puffs Help Make Summer Snacking Simple Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Puffs are a new snack with a “chip like bag designed to appeal to tweens and teens, and with flavors like Buffalo Wing and Cheddar Bacon they also appeal to their maturing taste buds. Usually when I introduce a new snack to the house the reviews are mixed, and rightfully so as everyone has their own taste; but when it came to Goldfish Puffs each flavor was a hit! And because the flavors were bolder, my oldest, and pickiest, was their biggest fan. I have used classic Goldfish Crackers as an ingredient in many of my meals (they are especially good for breading chicken), so I thought to myself why not utilize the Puffs in a family dinner as well? I took a cup of Extra Cheese Goldfish Puffs, crushed them up and used them to top my tuna casserole. Not only did the kids think it was neat, but it added a bold twist to an otherwise simple dinner.

Buffalo Chicken Tenders Teen Sized Snack These puffs are goldfish all grown up and perfect for hungry teens and tweens. {And hungry moms as well} We took them to camp with us last week for a quick on the go snack {the buffalo wings are my favorite hands down} and I’m not just saying that because I am from Buffalo. The mega cheese is just that CHEESY. But‌I told you before, my kids have been HUNGRY; so I used the Buffalo style to make chicken fingers.

Perfect Teen Snack for Road Trips My kids have been fans of the classic little orange goldfish snacks since they were toddlers so I knew this opportunity was a perfect fit. There are some things they simply don’t outgrow. I had plans to make a party mix with the Goldfish Puffs , but my daughter couldn’t wait until we got home to try the new snacks, and had to open them right away. At home I decided to mix up that party mix I’d intended to make with the Goldfish Puffs, pretzels and Traditional Chex Mix I’d purchased at the store. I labeled the bag as road trip snacks so no one would be confused as to its purpose. Of course, my family has been sneaking a few bites here and there; but I won’t complain. That just means I’ve found a snack they’ll all love.

Goldfish Puffs Cheesy Chicken Cucumber Cups Just because my kids are getting older doesn’t mean they don’t need snacks. In fact, I think they might enjoy them more now than they did when they were little. When they spotted the new Goldfish Puffs at Target, they just HAD to try them. They were always fans of the Goldfish crackers and I knew they would love the new snazzy flavors of these bigger Goldfish Puffs. These are delicious as a stand alone snack for the teens but we wanted to try them in a recipe too. We made Cheesy Chicken Cucumber Cups. They turned out awesome! My kids can’t wait to make them again. Follow the steps below to make them for your own hungry tweens and teens! In fact, these are pretty easy so they could probably make them themselves as long as you are comfortable with them using a knife.
