any locals may recognize successful restauranteurs Ren Yang and his wife, Lin Guo. The couple once managed Koto Japanese Steakhouse in Carmel before they began building their expansive brand of restaurants and eateries throughout the greater metro area.
Growing a Family Owned-Operated Dynasty Their dedication to the highest standards of food and customer service is what drives Yang and Guo’s success. They opened two of their restaurants (Meet Noodles and Tsaocaa Indy) in the Castleton area in 2018 and 2019 and Harmony Steak House in Whitestown in 2020. “Every one of our locations is different from the others, but there are ‘signature’ elements that connect them so that you know it’s one of our stores or restaurants,” Yang shared. “We are focusing on expanding our Harmony brand so that if you think of sushi, poke or hibachi, you’ll thinking of Harmony as one of your local options for dining.”
Express Lunch or Dinner Without Compromising Quality Harmony Poké and Bubble Tea will offer its guests a streamlined and interactive approach to ordering quality food. The menu boasts a variety of dishes, bubble teas and other flavorful beverages to satisfy a variety of specific tastes and dietary preferences. Vegetarian options are also available. So, whether it’s meeting for lunch and enjoying a poke bowl served with superb ingredients such as sushi rice, veggies and salmon, or ordering carryout and taking home one of Harmony’s signature dishes—spicey ginger chicken—or meeting up after school or after dinner for a creamy, hand-crafted avocado milkshake, dragon fruit smoothie or Fragrans Oolong Tea garnished with delicious fresh fruit, Harmony Poké & Bubble Tea offers the highest-quality ingredients available.

sweeteners and/or milk with tapioca pearls at the base of the drink. Yang shared that it originated in Taiwan and is becoming even more popular throughout the U.S. Yang added, “We make sure that all of the ingredients that we use are as close to the authentic ingredients from Taiwan as possible. We also make sure we use good, quality teas to mix with.” Harmony Poké & Bubble Tea offers several different bubble tea options along with a variety of fresh smoothies and yogurt milkshakes with more than 20 topping options.
Hands-On Ownership Is Key “We focus on finding the right people to run our locations, and we make sure that we are available to resolve any issues that may come up,” Yang said. “We want to make sure that each location looks good in our eyes and in our customers’ eyes.” Yang emphasized that it is important to him and his wife that their customers feel welcome and enjoy their meals in a clean and relaxing environment. With convenience being another factor that Yang and Guo offer their customers, the couple is in the process of developing a “Harmony” app—for both Android and Apple users—that will allow customers to find a location near them, view the menus, order online and order gift cards as well. The app is expected to launch this October.
Opening at the End of August Harmony Poké & Bubble Tea is now open. Each dish and beverage bring an array of flavor and fun to the dining experience.
