Student Engagement
Truly the hub of student involvement, the Department of Student Engagement develops and implements programs that contribute to a meaningful co-curricular experience. Student Clubs and Organizations
The Prescott Campus recognizes over 150 student clubs and organizations. These include academic, service, club sport, cultural, fraternity and sorority life, military-affiliated, and professional organizations. Involvement in these groups hones important life skills that can be applied in the career field, provides fun and creative outlets for students, and offers outstanding networking opportunities — enriching student’s personal and professional lives. prescott.erau.edu/campus-life/studentengagement/clubs

Competitive Spirit
In addition to our athletic programs, our students compete for various titles and recognitions nationally. Among them, Phi Beta Lambda, the business club, has consistently swept top honors in the statewide competition. The Golden Eagles Flight Team is ranked among the top teams in the country in the Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON) competitions and has captured the national championship title 12 times. Female flight students also have a special opportunity to represent the campus in the Annual Women’s Air Race, a transcontinental race for women that dates back to 1929. Other clubs that participate in various competitions include rugby, e-sports, bowling, spikeball, lacrosse, volleyball, and fencing.
Student Government Association (SGA)
The Student Government Association Student Council is elected each Spring for the subsequent year by the student body. SGA provides a communication link between the students and the administration. SGA council members lead a student panel during New Student Orientation and participate in almost every committee on campus. The president of the SGA is a student delegate to Embry-Riddle’s Board of Trustees. The SGA serves as the voice of the students and provides many enhancements to student life through its service organizations: Student Campus Enhancement Fund (SCEF), Board of Campus Activities (BCA), and Horizons Newspaper. Additionally, SGA provides services for students including, but not limited to, free beverage service, Safe Ride (a free taxi ride to students who feel they are in an unsafe situation) and lockers.
