LMU OneCard

At LMU, the OneCard is not just our students’ campus I.D. This innovative, multipurpose card contains technology that makes life easier by providing quick access to funds at any LMU dining locations and shops on campus. A student’s LMU OneCard is also used to check in at various on-campus events, check out resources from the library, access the Burns Recreation Center, and obtain tickets for LMU Athletics events. For students who live on campus, the OneCard serves as their key card to their residence hall and room (coded with a personal door security PIN to ensure safety). With the LMU OneCard, students do not need to carry cash as they move around campus. Instead, the OneCard is used to access students’ applicable LION or S-Dollar “Meal Plan” funds at on-campus dining locations by simply tapping it at the register. It is important to use these funds before opting into any supplemental payment methods because Meal Plan funds expire on July 31 of each year. The OneCard also contains a “Flexi-Dollar” account that allows students to make other purchases at places such as residence hall laundry facilities, the campus bookstore, the mail center, campus printing of materials for class, and even at select off-campus merchants.

Running low on Flexi-Dollars? By going to the LMU One Card Office website, students (or their parents, family, or friends) may add more funds remotely using a Discover/ MasterCard/VISA credit card. More sites on campus are now “cashless,” but cash can be converted into Flexi-Dollars at one of our seven Account Management Centers (A.M.C.) located throughout campus (these machines accept cash but do not dispense cash). Funds deposited either online or at an A.M.C. will be available immediately.
