coloQuick thawing unit

Problem

What is happening

Solution

Water temperature is not rising – or only slowly.

Machine is running.

If the green lamp on the front of the machine is on, then try to affect the thermal fuse behind the front cover by pushing the button hard. If the thermal fuse was switched off, a ”click” is heard.

Contactor has been activated.

Check that contactor has been activated.

Heating element is cold.

Check that there is voltage to the heating element.

Comments

Replace heating element. Motor is running, but cartridges in the water tank are not rotating.

Bolt has broken.

Mount a new bolt.

Motor is not running.

Lid switch not activated.

Check plate of the lid switch. Check lid switch. Replace lid switch.

Wrong display of temperature control.

Fuse defective.

Replace fuse.

Wrong colostrum temperature when feeding.

Temperature sensor must be replaced. Temperature offset in control to be adjusted.

If control or temperature sensor is replaced temperature offset must be set in the control. Contact Calvex A/S.

Control to be replaced. Heating/thawing of colostrum takes too long.

Cartridges are not rotating.

Screwbolt in the coupling must be replaced.

Cartridges are rotating.

Check voltage and power supply to heating element. Check quantity of colostrum that is thawed/heated and colostrum quality. Check that freezer temperature is -16 degrees C.

5

www.coloquick.com

www.coloquick.com

Factors that influence thawing time negatively are: Good colostrum quality, freezer tempera ture below -16 degrees C and a larger quantity of colostrum than 4 litres per bag.
