Y8 - CLASS B - GROUP I - STORY 1
THE HOUSE ON FIRE There was a happy family, who had rented a house to a very mysterious man. The man was like a creepy man! He was always alone talking to himself. Since June that year, he hadn’t been paying for the rent. Four months of no payment at all had already gone by. As time went by and no money had come in, the father of the family decided to go to his rented house in order to check what was happening. When he got there, the creepy man didn’t open the door for him.He said: “This is my house now and I don’t have to pay for the rent anymore. Either go away or I will kill your whole family and give their corpses for my dogs to eat.” The father was completely mad at the situation presented. As a consequence, he bought a lot of oil and set fire to the house. The creepy man was burned and screamed in pain until the end of the fire. When the fire went down and there were only ashes, the father started looking for the creepy man. He would like to know if there was any sign of him or something like that. But the only thing he saw was ashes, ashes and more ashes. The father only went home, he thought he was safe, but he was quite wrong.Once he got home, he was very tired. He checked the clock. It was already 11:30 PM. As he was worn out, he went to bed. BOOM! A huge sound came from the kitchen. He thought it was his wife, so he went back to sleep. Then, he realized that his wife was by his side.
She was there sleeping. He went downstairs to check it out, but he found nothing wrong At about 3:00 AM, he was worried about his kids, because he didn’t wan. t to wake them up. He decided to stand up again and go to the kitchen. Things were at a different place. There were some forks on the ground and some ingredients all over the place. He thought that someone might have gotten inside his house! The father was really right! He, “the burning man”, had visited their house. The “burning man” had lived in California between 1930 and 1970 and died due to some fire on his own house! Feeling very much afraid when he went back to bed again, he noticed there was a note on his pillow! The note said: “Watch out, man! I am still alive!” He thought that someone was just playing a trick on him. He threw the note away and tried to sleep. The next morning, he woke up very early and went to the kitchen. Then, he saw another note: “I am still alive!” After that, he was even more afraid and all the family started receiving notes all week long from the killer. They tried to move away, but the killer said if they moved, he would kill all the family. Afterwards, the family started hearing screams. One day, there was a message made with blood in the bathroom, saying again: “I’m still alive'

The family was so much scared, they thought that the killer would set fire to their house, because he had died that way. They tried to call the police, but the killer had cut the house phone cables. When they tried to do anything else, it was too late. The little wooden house was already on fire. The dad survived, but part of the family on the second floor couldn’t get out of the house.

THE MAGIC LAMP In a faraway city called Shanghai, in China, there was a really big museum of history that held a golden lamp in its collection. A very powerful ghost lived inside that lamp. It had belonged to the family Targaryen from Beijing for quite a long time. That family used to be very rich, but, unfortunately, they lost their lamp when China was invaded. What nobody knew was that the lamp, apart from being precious, it was also magical.
Mr. and Mrs Targaryen looked for the lamp for many years and when they had finally realized that it was lost for good, they discovered that the magical lamp was in the history museum of Shanghai. They wanted to get the magical lamp back. They held their place in society by being the most powerful family in China. In this sense, they planned to invade the museum and get the lamp back. When they went to the Shanghai’s museum, they stole the lamp. They left the city towards their house in Beijing. When they got there, they opened the lamp and the ghost ran away from the couple. He came back to the museum, because he liked the attention of the tourists there. When he arrived, a lot of police officers expelled him from there and the ghost got very angry and disappointed. He wished a revenge from that moment on. At night, the spirit went to one of the officer’s house and put poison in his family’s food, killing them.

Afterwards, the ghost came back to the museum as if nothing had happened. Once he got into the museum, he literally stole all the precious masterpieces. He thought if no one could give him enough attention, people wouldn’t give attention to other stupid things, just like sculptures, paintings and all that which has been made of gold. The ghost kept the masterpieces, he had stolen, well hidden. But the ghost didn't know that all the precious art from the museum belonged to an Egyption pharaoh. The pharaoh had cursed the person who had gotten all that collection. At the museum it was already midnight and the security guards saw something moving again. Then they went to see what was going on. They saw the spirit of the Egyption pharaoh going out of his thumb and fighting against the evil ghost that had stolen all your things. The Egyption pharaoh won the fight and the ghost came back to the lamp. The pharaoh, victorious, returned to his thumb too. And when the sun rose the next morning, it just seemed to be just one more ordinary day at the museum with everything in their own place.

The spirit in the box It was October 16th, 1984. It was a rainy day in Pennsylvania when a horrible thing happened. Pennsylvania was where everything happened. It is a very strange city and also well-known as a very dangerous one. Mrs. Hannigan was walking down the street. She was very distracted when, suddenly, she ran into a box on the ground and fell off. The box was the kind of thing that you give someone as a gift. Such a shame a gift to be left on the ground! She decided to take it home. What she didn’t know was that the box wasn’t an ordinary one! Once she brought it into her house, she had been listening to frightening screams in the middle of the night. They were screams of horror! She was scared! She simply didn’t know why she was hearing those screams. Her first thought was that there was something in the box. She looked carefully at it, but she couldn’t find anything. She, finally, came to the conclusion that it was not safe for her to be alone in her

She was really confused about the situation. Then, the fear took over her body. Desperately, she started running and screaming for help! Actually, she freaked out when she realized that nobody was nearby. She thought it might have been her own imagination! After some minutes in complete misery, she could arrive home! She threw herself to the floor and started crying! She simply didn’t know what to do! Controlled by despair, she ended up fainting. When she opened her eyes and recovered from her fainting, she looked for the box around her house, but it was not there anymore. As she was feeling extremely worn out due to that tough day, she

went to sleep. A strange thing happened! She began struggling! An unknown spirit had incorporated her body by saying that the curse of the box, from that moment on, belonged to her. After 5 minutes of suffering, Mrs. Hannigan didn’t feel her own body and soul. She had been struck by an evil spirit. Mrs. Hannigan has not been herself anymore! Since then, she has been haunting people who take that box with them! Just like she once did!

A HORROR STORY ON A TRAIN TO CHINA! There was a detective called Paul. He was Austrian, very clever and serious guy. But, sometimes, he was very kind of aggressive as well. One day, he decided to travel to China in order to investigate a Lord Augustus ´s murder. In order to take the trip, he bought a ticket on a huge train due to his long journey to China. Nobody knew who the murderer of Lord Augustus was. What everybody knew was that he had run away to China, because the police were after him. There was an important detail people also knew: Lord Augustus had been stabbed to death! The train was crowded. There were people from India, Japan, the USA, England, etc. It seemed to be a mess! There was also a mysterious man on the train. Nobody knew where he had come from. He didn't open his mouth to say anything. All passengers were in the middle of the trip when, suddenly, all the knives of the kitchen of the train disappeared. Paul thought that was very strange and started investigating the case carefully. Paul started his investigation by asking everybody if they knew what was going on. No one knew. All of a sudden, he heard a very strong noise. It was someone screaming. When some people got to the place where the sound came from, they saw a woman on the ground. She was bleeding! She had been stabbed to death as well! Later that night, Paul gathered everybody on the main wagon of the train and talked to everyone. But, again, no one knew what had happened. “There was no way for a knife to kill a woman by itself”, concluded Paul. He was really confused about all that situation. The next day, in the middle of the night more specifically, he could listen to some weird noise. He got up and walked slowly through the corridor of the train. He was paralyzed when he saw a strange man stabbing a very young lady! He got really fearful! Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do at that time! He just turned around and ran so that he could save his own life. He hid himself in his own cabin. He thought over and over again about what he must do in that case and came to a conclusion! After that horrifying event, Paul realized he had actually seen the murderer of Lord Augustus and some others on the same train he was! The murderer was killing more and more VIP people in order to steal all their money! As he had prepared himself in terms of his own protection and safety, he had a gun hidden inside his cabin. He went back there to the scene of the crime, but now carrying his gun. He looked for the murderer and finally could recognize him talking to another wealthy person. He solved the crime with

He shot him in front of the one who would be the next victim. He couldn’t stand that terrible situation and ended up killing himself after a while on that same train! Nowadays, passengers have stated they have heard shots and people panicking on the train! Paul has become a ghost haunting the train with destination to China!

THE BLOODY NIGHT At a calm night, Godofredo was sleeping deeply. Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. He woke up and shouted: ‘’Who is there?‘’, but nobody answered. He went back to sleep. 5 minutes later, the door was knocked again! He woke up and decided to go downstairs. When he opened the door, he saw his wife, but she had died about 1 year before. Feeling completely overwhelmed by terror, he closed the door and went back to his bedroom upstairs. He locked himself in there and prayed a lot! At some time during the night, he fell asleep! He was completely worn out! In the next morning, still very frightened, Godofredo got confused, because he didn't know if all that had been a nightmare or reality. He decided he would search for a ghost expert. That was done and the expert said that he had to go through a ritual with candles and drums. After the chat Godofredo had had with the ghost expert, he became even more scared, although he knew what to do next. He bought some candles and learned the ritual songs. Even though he was trying to do everything required by the expert, he was feeling pretty much insecure. Some time later, he did the ritual. He noticed that it didn't work out well. His wife was purple and angry! She had killed herself the previous year, because Godofredo had been betraying her. Godofredo’s wife kept on knocking on his door every night. He was getting more and more frightened. Then, he decided that he would do something else. He looked for another spirit specialist. The man that he found was very scared, but maybe, he could help him better that time. His name was Bob. The next day, it was at about eleven o'clock PM, when Bob arrived at Godofredo’s house. He spread out a lot of candles and salt around the front door, where Godofredo´s wife used to knock on. When the next night came, both Bod and Godofredo waited for Godofredo’s wife. No signal of her. When Godofredo finally thought he was free from her spirit, he laid down on his bed. By that time, he felt something weird under his pillow. When he checked that out, he found a knife with a bloodstain. He went
crazy! He, suddenly, felt the most horrible pain ever. He couldn't take it anymore. Filled with complete despair, he decided to kill himself. When he was about to jump through the window, his wife showed up by his door. She was in tears and told him what was going on. She actually had never died. She faked her death so she could escape from the nightmare her life was at the moment she had found out about all his betrayal. She tried to have a new life in a far away city, but she missed him and decided to visit him one last time and talk to him. Godofredo was very confused! He couldn't decide what to do next! He was a little scared, but he invited her to come in and have a conversation. He opened the door for her to come in the house. They went straight to the dining room. There they talked about everything that had happened and why she was back there with him. While the conversation was going on, some strange noises came from Godofredo’s bedroom. They both went to check it out! The door was open, but once they were 1 step from it, it closed. Godofredo was a little scared, so he turned himself to talk with his wife. Once he did that, she was no longer there. At that time, he thought that something bad had happened to her. When he turned himself back to the door, she was there, holding her little knife, crying out: “Help me!” Godofredo had already understood: a spirit was possessing her! He tried to run, but every time, when he ran to the opposite direction, she was already there. He was desperate! The knife was about to hit him! Then… he woke up. It had been nothing, but a terrible nightmare!

THE KILLING GHOST It was October 30th, 1999 in Dover Delaware. A very strange kid was born at Delaware State Hospital, a new unknown hospital in the capital. Bruce was his name. The greatest murderer of all time had been born in the United States of America. Bruce had always been a really bad student. He couldn’t understand even a thing at school! His parents were angry with him due to that. They decided to punish him. He got locked in his bedroom for a whole day. The next day, Bruce’s dad was going to take him to school, when a terrible thing happened. Bruce was not there anymore, although his father could listen to his voice from a distance saying: “You will never walk alone!’’ His father was very frightened, but he didn't tell anybody about that. He kept on his ordinary daily schedule as if nothing had happened. He went to work. On that same day, the father was reading the news when, suddenly, he read that a kid had killed his own mother. Afraid, he went back home, shouted for his beloved one, but she didn't answer. He went upstairs and opened the door of the room where they had locked their son. When he opened it, he saw his wife’s corpse. She had been killed by their own son at their house! When the husband saw the woman’s body and all that blood, he fainted. He could get his force back and wake up only the next morning.
When he opened his eyes, the bell was ringing. It was the police. The man, in panic, started explaining everything that had happened to the police, but they didn't believe in him. He showed them the body of his wife. The police asked him where the kid was, because they would take him for a police questioning. The father told the police that the kid had disappeared, but he could still hear his voice that kept scaring him. They thought he was crazy. Little had they known that he wasn't. The kid killed himself after he had killed his mom. He became a ghost who would torture his father forever. The father was convicted for killing his family and then he was taken to prison where he would spend 30 years of his life. When he reached his cell, he began to go crazy by hearing the voice of his dead son again and again, The voice always said: “You're going to pay for everything you've done to me. Good night, father. Enjoy your punishment!” After that, the father did not have a moment of peace, because his son tormented him throughout the nights. Until a certain time the father could no longer handle that terrible suffering and killed himself by throwing his head into the cell’s full of water sink.

Everything was held in Oklahoma in the United States of America. It was a rainy day of June when I saw her for the first time. She was really frightened DESDE 1900 and looked really upset. I asked my friends who she was and they told me that she lived in the house at the end of the street with her sister and parents, who were never there for her. By the way, her name was Susie. On that same day, a horrible event happened. Susie had burned the entire school. It was a terrible day! 154 students from 7 to 16 years old had died.
