Pico das Almas The “Pico das Almas” peak is in a ridge between the cities “Rio das Contas” and “Livramento de Nossa Senhora”.It is on Chapada Diamantina and it is a beautiful place at “Serra das Almas”.At 1.958 meters, there is an incredible flora which will make you not believe your own eyes! Bring your camera along, because you’ll see endemic plants and carnivore ones,so don’t miss a shot. Also, many scientists and writers write about this place and its orchids.There is an incredible view of all the ridge, so if you blink, you shall lose all this extraordinary view! So, really, if you don’t come here, you don’t know what life is!!!


“Cachoeira da Fumaça” is an incredible Brazilian waterfall located in the cities of “Lençois” and ”Palmeiras”. It is the tallest waterfall in Brazil, with 380 meters. It is called “Cachoeira da Fumaça” because, due to the height of the fall, the water evaporates forming a visual “panorama” as if it were smoke. However, depending on the season, it can be completely dry. So prepare yourself to see the most wonderful waterfall in Brazil. There’s an important security warning: it is highly advisable not to enter this trail without the guidance of a professional guide.


You should visit the wonderful Peak of Barbados. It is part of the amazing Chapada Diamantina, in Bahia, and the highest peak of the brazilian northeast, with 2033 meters. There is a unique and breathtaking view from up there! There is a trail to climb the peak and it takes two hours and half to do it. Don’t forget to bring your camera along when visiting this amazing place! In this region there is a lot of extraordinary places too, like Serra do Espinhaço, Pico das almas, and a lot of brazilian beauties! You’ll really love the visit!


You should visit the only mountain range in Brazil, going through Minas Gerais and Bahia, including the awesome Chapada Diamantina: the huge “Serra do Espinhaço”! It’s incredibly ancient (from the proterozoic age), and it has real gold in there (but don’t search for it)! The highest place there is the “Pico do Sol” with 2,072 meters, but this part isn’t in Chapada Diamantina. It is the 7th ONU’s biosphere reserve, because it has a lot of natural resources. Don’t forget to bring your cameras along when visiting this amazing place! This place has a lot of waterfalls, rivers, creeks, lakes and canyons. Its name came from the German geologist Ludwig von Eschwege, and he liked this name for this place because it looks like a spine.


Pelourinho is in Salvador historic center. Pelourinho is the highest part of Salvador and you can get there by elevator. There are lots of churches, cultural centers, old buildings and old streets and you can´t miss this gorgeous restaurant called Senac. When the europeans lived in Salvador, their houses were in Pelourinho and now these houses are beautiful hotels. You should visit the Afro-brasileiro museum. There is a beautiful collection composed of African pieces such as masks, sculptures, fabrics, ceramics, ornaments and musical instruments. There is also some brazilian objects related to the Afro-Brazilian religion in Bahia. This is definitely a must-see place.


In Salvador there’s a lot of amazing beaches for you to visit. One of them is Praia do Porto da Barra, which is only 600 meters long, but it is a giant beauty with an awesome view of the Bay of All Saints. This beach has crystalline and calm waters, which leaves it ideal for bathing, specially for children. Another wonderful beach is Itapoã. It has excellent infrastructure with many kiosks and bars, including one of the most famous acarajés in Salvador: Cira, which is worth a try!


The Elevador Lacerda is the first urban elevador in the world. Located in the Municipal Square, at the historic Center of Salvador, it serves the function of public transport between the Plaza Cairu, in the lower city, and the TomÊ de Souza Square, in the Upper City. Today, it is the main tourist attraction of the city. The elevador gets to carry 900 thousand passengers in a month in a course of thirty seconds, running 24 hours a day. When you are at the top of the Elevador Lacerda do not forget to take a photo. It is perfect! You can’t miss this awesome place; get ready to see the most interesting and ancient elevador in the world!


Mercado Modelo is a handicraft market located in the city of Salvador, state of Bahia, Brazil. There are 263 stores that offer the largest variety of handicrafts, gifts and souvenirs from Bahia. Mercado Modelo sells lots of toys and clothes. There are things like beautiful earrings, bracelets, and also typical instruments that Brazilians use for a dance called “capoeira”. You need to buy one! I suggest a “berimbau”. You must bring your camera along because there are lots of beautiful little sculptures and paintings that will certainly catch your eye.


The Area of Serra da Capivara! Bring your camera along because this is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Serra da Capivara is located in São Raimundo Nonato, in the southeast of the state of Piauí. The place is very hot and arid, so don’t forget a cap and sunglasses. There are many animals in that region (615 different species), including beautiful birds, fascinating capybaras and dangerous lionesses. There are lots of vegetation in there as well: it’s a wonderful natural paradise.


In Serra da Capivara, the museum of Homem Americano is a place you certainly should visit: Located in the tiny SĂŁo Raimundo Nonato city, in the southeast of PiauĂ­, the Museum Foundation for the American Man was created in the 70s by French and Brazilian scientists to research the prehistory. In the museum, you can find many ancient prehistoric items, including stones, skulls and beautiful rock paintings. This is certainly a must see place! Established in 1979, the Serra da Capivara National Park stretches across the municipalities of São Raimundo Nonato, São João do Piauí, and Canto do Buriti in the south-eastern section of Piauí. You certainly should visit the archaeological sites.There are amazing cave paintings dated over 25.000 years! The archaeological sites are very important for the history of Brazil, because we can learn more about our ancestors. In my opinion, the park is a wonderful place, so don’t forget to bring your camera!


The National Park of Serra da Capivara was created in 1979, aiming to protect flora, fauna, natural beauties and archaeological monuments. It was expanded in 1990 with the creation of adjacent permanent preservation areas. In 1991, the Park was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Besides the beautiful rock formations, the archaeological sites with rock paintings and sandstone engravings stand out. There are more than a thousand registered sites, a great archeological data in America. The Park also has visitors center, belvederes, ecological trails and the Museum of the American Man. The fauna and flora are typical of the caatinga. There are armadillos, anteaters, ocelots, jacus, cotias, deer, wild pigs, macaws and jaguars. There is also a large variety of birds, lizards and snakes.


São Bento’s Monastery is a good place to go in Olinda, Pernambuco, Brazil. It tells so much about the culture and the religion of the place because it is the oldest religious monument in Olinda, with a baroque influence in the building. The architecture is gorgeous and there are beautiful details in it. I think that this place is really interesting, so you must visit it! There you can pray and see the drawings in the ceiling among other things that you will never forget. If you are not a catholic, you can still go and just visit it, because it is a must see place. If you come to Olinda you should visit Praia dos Milagres. It’s an amazing and not too busy beach. You can sunbathe and swim in the incredible sea of the Brazilian Northeast. Next to the beach, there is the Sta. Cruz dos Milagres church, which is simple but absolutely beautiful, definitely a must-see place. But remember that you need to be careful, because sometimes this church is closed. Don’t forget to bring your camera and you will have many likes on Instagram after posting photos of this wonderful place.


If you come to Olinda, you can’t miss this beautiful observatory. The astronomical observatory of Alto da Sé is located in the city of Olinda, Pernambuco, Brazil, next to a magical and wonderful beach. It’s also next to Recife, the capital of the state of Pernambuco. A comet was observed near the site, becoming known as “Cometa Olinda”. There are a lot of fotos on social media. Olinda’s beach Olinda’s beach is one of the most lovely places in the world. If you like sunbathing and swimming in clear water, this is a place you must visit. Near this beach there are many old and beautiful monuments that you would love to know more about! People who go there really recommend this place. It’s a good beach to visit when you are on vacation, so come to Brazil and enjoy this paradise! Olinda has other attractions, for example: The Observatory of Olinda, the Miracle Beach, The Monastery of St. Benedict, Olinda Historic Center and other beautiful and perfect places to visit. Don´t forget to bring your cameras with you! And enjoy this trip!!!


You should visit this amazing place! Dolphins Bay is a beautiful place to contemplate, especially its dolphins. It’s near Sancho beach, so you can rent a jeep or you can go on foot (but you will be very tired). To see the most expected attraction of the tour you have to take a boat and then you will see the playful animals swimming and jumping! There are too many dolphins (and the people who work there have to count how many there are each day!). One of the most visited and liked points of the beach is the gazebo. There you can see the dolphins and have a wonderful view of the beach! You can do a beautiful trail to go there. There you can take some of the prettiest photos in all your trip! With a blue ocean and an amazing gazebo to see the dolphins, you can’t forget to bring your camera!


Morro dois irmãos It’s a rock formation located in Praia da Cacimba do Padre. The color of the water is really beautiful, so get ready to see the most wonderful place ever! It receives this name due to the fact that the hills are together, like brothers. You can do trails and climbs, you can feel the nature and relax. The weather is usually hot and sunny, which is good for a beach day! You can also visit Baía dos Porcos, one of the most beautiful and awesome places in Noronha. By the way, you can’t miss the Noronha sunset! It is magical! TRIP TIP: You can eat a delicious Pasta with different molluscs in Mergulhão, a very typical and cultural restaurant. Anywhere you go, keep your camera with you! HAVE A GOOD TRIP!!!


“Morro do Pico” - (Hilltop Pick) is the highest point of the island. With 323m, it is a very famous tourist point of “Fernando de Noronha”. It is the summit of a large submarine system of a volcano origin. The beach, just like “Morro do Pico”, is super beautiful, quiet, spotless, and it’s an excellent place to rest and enjoy nature. It is a great beach to swim with an incredible sunset with easy access, too. The hill has the shape of a face. You can see other things too! To enjoy your trip... If you want, you can do trails and enjoy the local flora. It’s a good place to take many photos! If you are starving, near the hill there’s a bar & restaurant called “O pico” (The Pick) with beer, wines, sweets and regional food. And you can also enjoy some boat trips, and to see several species of fish.


You can’t miss it! Considered one of the prettiest beaches in the world, Sancho Beach has a beautiful watercolor. It’s clear, with a lot of fishes, but you can only access it after buying a ticket. Everything in Noronha is very expensive, all those the price is worth it. There’s lots of types of fishes, big and small ones. If you like ocean life bring your snorkel along! In the rain time there’s a beautiful waterfall that you can visit too! Don’t forget to bring your camera and some money to have an amazing adventure!


Botanical Garden Rio de Janeiro is a beautiful city, with lots of things to do. One place that you must see is the Botanical Garden. This relaxing and gorgeous place is located in Rua Jardim Botânico. Covering 350 acres at the foot of Corcovado, this place is a mix of an ecological sanctuary, with amazing gardens and a scientific laboratory. A good place to take photos and relax is the Orchidarium, an iron and glass greenhouse with more than 2,000 species of orchids. So don’t forget to bring your cameras along! The Japanese Garden is another place to enjoy, with its cherry trees, wooden bridges, koi ponds and Bonsais! Visit this wonderful place and enjoy it!


When you come to Rio de Janeiro, you must visit Christ the Redeemer, a beautiful statue of Christ. This giant statue overlooking the city from the 709meter summit of Corcovado is recognized as a symbol of Christianity across the world. Located inside the Tijuca National Park, Christ the Redeemer has become a cultural icon of Rio de Janeiro and also Brazil. It’s listed as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. You have to climb lots of stairs and escalators to arrive at the top and get closer to the Christ as much as possible. In special holidays like New Year and Christmas, the statue gets very colourful at night. Bring your cameras along, because you will wish to have your photos posted on Instagram! ;)


Ipanema is a famous beach and also neighborhood, where you can find many hotels, restaurants and bars. When you come to Rio, you must visit Ipanema beach. There you can relax, take some beautiful pictures and enjoy the sea. One of the beaches became worldwide famous by the song (Garota de Ipanema). On Sundays, at Praรงa General Osรณrio, there is a craft fair, where you can find crafts, very good music, arts and also food trucks. You must visit this place to know more about Rio and its culture!


Copacabana In Rio de Janeiro there’re lots of beaches, but one that you must see is Copacabana, a neighborhood and also a beach. Few cities are blessed with such a beautiful sand beach at its heart. Some steps away from its golden sands is Avenida Atlântica, Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana and the neighborhood, where you’ll find good hotels, excellent restaurants, cafes and old buildings. One hotel which is very famous on this neighborhood is Copacabana Palace, built in the 1920s and now protected as a national monument. Get ready to see one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!!


The Dreamland in Foz do Iguaçu is a complex of interesting attractions a wax museum where you can see a lot of sculptures, including some of the biggest Hollywood stars. It’s life-size pieces, from characters known worldwide, range from Barack Obama, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse and Papa Francisco to the blockbuster characters such as Iron Man, Master Yoda and Jack Sparrow. Today, this complex is one of the most important in the country. It’s definitely a must see place.


Cataratas do Iguaçu This is a waterfall that is the most touristic attraction in Foz do Iguaçu!! Go there, and you will never forget that amazing adventure! Now, have you ever imagined enjoying the spectacular view of the Iguaçu Falls, one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, in an environment where the pure air of the forest mixes with the gentle aromas of a very special kitchen? This place exists and is located in the Iguaçu National Park, on the banks of the Iguaçu River, providing unique views of the top of the famous Falls. We are talking about the restaurant Porto Canoas, where you have at your disposal a wide variety of foods, drinks and desserts and the soundtrack of this environment are the whispers of the Iguaçu Falls. Bring your cameras along and enjoy!


When you come to Iguazu Falls you should visit the Acquamania Park, which is an amazing place. There’s a lot of radical slides, swimming pools and a snack bar with good food.There’s also a store with a lot of cute plush animals for you to take home as a souvenir. You can throw your birthday party in the park and if it is your birthday you don’t need to pay your own entrance.The entrance from Tuesday to Friday costs R$ 90,00 and on weekends,R$ 110,00. Acquamania Park is the right place to have fun! You can’t miss it!


When you come to Iguazu Falls you need to visit the Bird Park. The bird park is a huge conservation area for birds of the Atlantic Forest. There’s a lot of types of birds and other different animals like lizards and snakes. Here you can take pictures with macaws, and there’s a bridge with tucanos and you can take pictures with them too, so don’t forget to bring your cameras along! There’s also a store with cute plush animals for you to get as souvenirs of this amazing place!


You can have one amazing experience to see dinosaurs in Foz do Iguaรงu. The Vale dos Dinossauros is one new tourist attraction in the city: in this amazing park the dinosaurs have movements and sounds,there are dinosaurs of all species. The trip lasts 45 minutes with an open air walking tour.Bring your camera along because you will need to take a picture of the twenty incredible and cool dinosaurs.


Ouro Preto Parque Natural Municipal das Andorinhas When you come to Ouro Preto you should visit PNMA. If you are in doubt where to go in Ouro Preto, don’t hesitate to go to that park because it’s incredible and really beautiful. PNMA (Parque Natural Municipal das Andorinhas) is one of the most famous parks in Brazil and it was created not only to preserve the fauna and flora of the region, but also to protect an important river called Rio das Velhas. Unfortunately, however, this area has been threatened by human activities. So, don’t miss the opportunity to visit this place. I’m sure you are going to like it, or better, LOVE IT.


In Ouro Preto a very interesting place to visit is Igreja Nossa Senhora da Conceição. Located between two main squares, Praça Barão de Queiroz and Praça Antonio Dias, the church is regarded as one of the country´s finest examples of architecture from Barroco Period. The painting and gilding are really old; they were finished in 1772. Bring your camera along because you will need to take a picture of this spectacular church.


If you are in Ouro Preto, you can’t miss Praça Tiradentes. Bring your camera along because you will need to take a picture of the Tiradentes statue to keep this perfect memory. You are going to have an incredible experience in Ouro Preto. There are other amazing places to visit: the Inconfidence museum (old house of camera and jail), the Science and Technology museum and one of the largest collections of minerals in the world.


If you are in Ouro Preto you can’t miss “Mina de ouro da passagem”, it is the biggest gold mine in the world. You can go under the ground by trolley.There is a wonderful lake and you can swim with a guide if you want. It’s an amazing adventure to do that. The route has 315 meters of extension and 120 of depth! In the past there were many slaves working there and they found 35 tons of gold .Get ready to try the best experience of your life!


Ouro Preto: The São Francisco De Assis Church: Are you going to Ouro Preto? If you are, you should visit the São Francisco de Assis church, which is located at the heart of the historical center of this amazing city. There at the São Francisco de Assis church everything is very beautiful and cultural. Get ready to see a small monument built in 1765, with baroque and golden details. Remember to bring your cameras along to this Heritage site, you will really enjoy it!
